Could this be due them, the US, seeing the Turkish UAV products as competitive when compared to American UAV? Or simply objecting Turkey's independent military industry as much as possible? The article also stated that Turkey has the capability to solve this issue on their own anyway.

i do believe though that this kind of measures will be better for Turkey in the long run. There is more incentive to produce the things we can't get from other countries.

The more US exert pressure, the more Turkey know, that they are on the right way. Turkey could do the same (cancel F-35- what could mean the end of the hole project, because it is standing on wobbly legs. Same as for S-70 etc...).

Karayel is a product of Vestel Savunma Sanayi which is a private enterprise.... so seems like just some bussiness news if West-Cam is not allowed to prdovide the damn cam and designator then Vestel should ask them from Aselsan what we sould think about is why they did not ask it from Aselan in the first place... and guess we all know the answer
