What's new

the Turkish invasion of Syria is the same as the Russian invasion of Ukraine

.
Turks use the excuse of defending ethnic Turks in Syria to come to Syria and fight for land to live on, just like what Russians did in Donbas.

Turkish aid convoys to ethic Turks in Syria destroyed as they entered Azaz in northern Syria bordering Turkey

Actually, after 2023, Turkey will have rightful claims to North Iraq and Syria.

.
We have no intention to invade anyone, just let Turkmens alone and focus on ISIS. Create a place to go a democratic elections then problem will be solved. Fsa and other groups will turn fight against ISIS then. With the help of coalition ISIS will be history and peace will be restored. But Putin still tries to save Assad and creates chaos by bombing opposition forces. Russia give no fvck about Syrians or ISIS. They don't wanna lose their ally in the ME.

Turks already fight in northwestern Iraq. They are called ISIS.

No? These so called Syrian rebels are Turks from Turkey.

So what? Probably he went willingly to help his Turkmen brothers. We are not sending our soldiers to Syria to fight with Assad like Russia did in Ukraine under the name " volunteers ".

There is one among many things your brain refuse to accept. People fight for ISIS with English, German, Dutch passports. There are Arabs and Turks too. Radicals are everywhere. So now can you claim Germans support ISIS ?

.
Ukraine's legitimate government was overthrown by coup. Russian intervention was invited by Yanukovich.

Syria's legitimate government still sits in Damascus.

Turkmen are getting roasted by Russian military. Show us your terrorist supporting shupa powa. Drive your tanks into Syria to protect Turkmen and then the bear will turn Ankara into a sea of fire with SS-18.

. . . . .
Last I heard Turkmen were fighting against ISIS? So far Russia has been bombing Assad's opponents but not ISIS.
Obviously, I don't blame them for focusing on other groups than Isis.
Russia is simply trying to protect it's military base and access in the Mediterranean Sea through Syria and maintain it's grip on the country as a whole. However,Russia forgets that it's impossible to have both today unlike before the civil war. Since there is no way in heaven the dozens of rebel groups, Islamist fighters etc in Syria will suddenly disappear or vanish with Assad staying in power under a unified Syria. Lol

So Russia better come to terms with this and cooperate with the U.S,U.K and France and make a compromise deal whereby proper elections will be held where Assad will leave power and Russia's interests/military bases will be protected. That's the only way this conflict can somehow end or at least calm down. :bounce:

Please don't give this idiot ultron aka superboy answer, he is opening topics like nothing.

He is super boy . Lol he is an international troll. I like him though . :pop:

I beg to differ. Assad will not leave power before his 7 years term which began last year is over. There will be no power vacuum in Damascus.

proper elections will be
ok , agreed.
where Assad will leave power
But why are you already deciding the outcome of elections ? Asking for fair elections is one thing , imposing your own proxy to rule is another thing. It simply goes to show just bcos assad is not western fan boy he must be removed. dint the same thing happen in ukraine ?
