The last real war you had was with Pakistan and it was back in 1971, 40 years has gone since then, do you think your soldiers today have fought any real conflict? The Kargil War back in 1999 was a minor conflict with 30.000 Indian soldiers sent (something we monthly deploy versus PKK terrorists in East Turkey and North Iraq). In practice you are outclassed by the US and also by Turkey. No doubt about that.

The constant vigil at the borders - small intensity conflicts against terrorists, constant war exercises between India and other forces and inter forces keep our forces keyed up.

However, Pakistani military is in much greater state of readiness now. Every branch of the military is operating close to its maximum capacity.

Pakistani missile delivery systems and arsenal are also in very high state of readiness. Don't underestimate us.
