The subcontinental middle class

To put is succinctly, Pakistan is the next North Korea, where a starving and illiterate population is held hostage by a lucky few, while they believe that world is out to destroy them but they have nuclear weapons to prevent that but they have to eat grass to remain safe.

It will not be pretty when this illusion falls apart, as it must. The cracks are already there to see.
Come on man. Do better, you took an extreme end example that is not true.

Actually, I was not being extreme.

All the signs are already there: falling social development, failing governance, total lack of justice, abysmal law and order, power shortages, economic stagnation, non-effective education system, horrible health care, and to top it all, traitorous politicians and military.

Need I go on, or would you like to tell me if any one of these things I mention are not really true?

So how many countries with 200 million people with nuclear weapons are in this situation? Doomsday never comes all of a sudden. Events lead up to it in a steady deterioration. Pakistan is not a developing country. It is a deteriorating country.
