In present scenario there is no permanent enemy,
Only their national interests can change the enemies and friends

INS Vikramaditya’s weakness will be defensive. Indian CAG report says that INS Vikramadirya will have no aerial defenses until 2017.

China do for fill gap arrangement until his own AC fleet will be completed

2 things.
1. We have fought many wars in past so yes Pakistan is still our potential enemy but we can improve things between us, hopefully.
2. Vikramaditya will be defensive for next 2-3 years but not toothless. It has a very powerful EW system installed already which can literally blind any aircraft coming towards it at the distance of around 400 km(tested many times on Su-33, Mig-29K and IL-38 mpas). Also there will be 5 surface ships(frigates and destroyers with sams) in Its CBG to protect it from incoming missiles and post 2017 add its own Sam system.

Russian are smart by milking India for 2.5 billions dollars to refurbish the old and rusty decommissioned A.C and sold it to India navy.
yes the first example was during the sea trials earlier, which unveiled boiler isolation problems that took months to repair

U.S. to transfer frigate to Pakistan navy
Pakistan will add a new ship to its growing fleet next year. Well, not exactly new: The 30-year-old frigate USS McInerney, put on the Navy’s inactivation list last month, will fly the flag of Pakistan after retirement from the U.S. Navy next year. ;)

Russia also got India to pay for the naval version of Mig.29, Russia made out like a bandit from this deal.

not for free as you awarded by Russian leftover in free

According the Russian Government permission the Russian Navy LEFTOVER ship was free for Indian Navy;
the Admiral Gorshkov was commissioned by the Soviet Navy in 1987. Nine years later it was declaring as Leftover and decommissioned in 1996 .however India Signed a deal worth cost of $947 million with Russia in 2004 for its refurbishment and refit . The delays pushed up the cost of its refurbishing to $2.3 billion, sparking acrimony between Russia and India over the contract.

Finally the Indian Navy received Russian aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya – formerly Russian Admiral Gorshkov. at the Sevmash shipyard on Saturday, November 16, 2013. Russia handed over the aircraft carrier renamed INS INS Vikramaditya after a much-delayed refit and cost escalations that led to disagreements between Moscow and New Delhi. the deadline was repeatedly postponed over five years. The latest delay during the sea trials earlier, which unveiled boiler isolation problems that took months to repair. Much of the refurbishment was due to bring the vessel back to serviceable condition ,removing the original Granite anti-ship missiles, clearing space for wider, longer deck fitted with the Ski Jump at the front section, enabling the vessel to deploy MiG-29K fighters

I am sure that the Russian only carrier would be in IN fleet soon after refits completes as Russian economy cannot handle to have carriers with N-Submarines.

I am sure India will offer them $5-6 Billions which Russian will be willing to get and sell their carrier and aircraft with helicopters and may be some other Frigates...

As I said, This 'leftover' still enough to deal with our potential enemy Pakistan when Its surface fleet is 70% based on 'leftovers'. LOLs

Anti-submarine defenses are equally concerning. The Indian Navy only has 10 Ka-28s, and only 4 of those are operational. This area will have to be improved if India intends to field a viable carrier fleet.

I think there is still possibility of about 12-14 OHPs and may be some 8-10 Corvettes from US very soon...

Yes this is way PA is happy to get all of the 13000 MRAPs and may be if US can pay for PA some 15000 KSA Humvees for PA too..
