Local opinion, especially among disappointed Congress supporters, was that allowing Naidu to make an appearance against the TRS sealed the issue; people still dislike him intensely from the Telengana movement days. I was quite hopeful that the TRS would be cut to size. Already the effects of his victory have gone to KCR's head, and he has started threatening people. Apollo Hospital's CEO's husband opposed him politically, their disposal systems have just been found to be defective (an absolute lie; they are talking about leakage of drain water from the hospital when it is completely sealed); other Congress leader have been threatened with 'raids' and 'investigations'.

It was silly of Congress to ally with such polarising guy like Naidu in Telangana. The wounds are still very raw from the bifurcation and wont be forgotten for a long time. This was not a cleaner split like with MP, UP, Bihar etc.

So it just gave fodder for KCR to use easily against both. This is silver lining in the end for BJP for 2019...if it needs to make coalition.

Btw wish you folks in MP the best with with Kamal Nath. Hope you make better decision federally next year .
