I said nothing to that effect. I said that the actions committed by those people constitue to associating others with Allah i.e putting someone in between man and God. That someone doesnt belong there in the first place. No matter how sugar coated the words are.

If this was being done in secret gatherings I wouldnt have "generalized as u call it.

who told u sufis do dat ??? who told u sufis go against the islam ?? i think u r mistaken sufis with tahir ul qadiri or bilal qutub or that rizvi molvi who was jailed recently. or u watch too many morning shows especially the ones with sahir lodhi and his shaista lodhi.

i dont have any knowledge i m just a student and learning and try to act on the knowledge i gain ...

stop going to saudi funded or iranian funded or any specific mosque which associate itself with any sect even if a mosque calls itself a sufi mosque and stop being naive ...

I do not live in pakistan where you are kicked out of a mosque for small thing such as rafa ul yadain. Here the mosques welcome everyone. Except qadyanis or shias they have their own seperate mosques.

Heck Thanvi even has a whole book dedicated to teaching people how to do magic. The book is called Aimaal e Qurani. One major proof of it being a book of magic is that it has clearly teaches people to write an amulet to cause seperation between husband and wife. Which Allah mentions is a major red flag of magicians in Surah Al-Baqarah(02:102)

Made in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh Islam is basically an attempt to use the label of Imam Abu Hanifa. And in reality preach teachings of Ibn Arabi, Barelvi, Thanvi and every other charlatan/trickster who was clever enough to hoodwink people.

On the outside their is tawheed and ishq e rasool. But the core is glorifying graves and what those graves contain. And making someone a waseela between man and God.

i recite namaz in front row in sunni mosque in USA and sunni recite namaz in shia mosque vice versa .... if any hardcore sunni masjid , i have no idea. where you live in US , i will look into that mosque administration .

I was talking about mosques in Pakistan where whole neighborhoods and village mosques have fights with each other.

I know mosques in US are very open.

well i am a student and i m not here on pak defence forum to give any evidence or proof and again ur lack of knowledge is clearly in your msg that ibn arabi, ahmed raza khan barelvi and ashrav raza thanvi are the founders of sufism.

sufism is just a name of a science. it has nuthin to do with magic or taweez or anythin else which u r claiming or being taught. this science was practiced by Ashab e Suffa. It strictly follow islamic sharia not salafi or wahabi or shia or ahle sunnat or deobandi or barelvi or any sect or its laws. it is a science to scrutinize own's behaviour and work on self to improve to be a good muslim. those who practice this science r called sufis and their source of knowledge r sahabas who were taught by Prophet Mohammad ( PBUH). thos green turbans or black turbans or with prayer caps dont associate them with the sufis plss dont confuse them with sufis.. there r many many fake people who claim to be sufis but in actual they r out there using the look of sufis to make money and fame only ...

and please stop urself arrogantly claiming to know all the islam and labeling others as heretics or non muslims since u r arguing like u know all about islam.

ok , Pakistani mosques are totally different scenario too many divisions. even 12 rabiul awal celebration disappeared. thanks to media freedom/musharraf, it slowly coming back.

Yes sufism does have all these shiny claims as you state. But in its core is surrounding the graves of their awliya and prostarting to them. This is what is taught in sufi maktab(schools) in yemen and egypt etc. And rocking back and forth in so called zikr. Which does not have anything to do with Quran and sunnah.

If Allah wanted muslims to rock back and forth in zikr then Allah wouldn't have given us 5x daily prayer.

My main concern is not sufis. Rather the made in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh Islam which in it's core tenets/beliefs is baseless rumors and stories. And putting someone/something between man and God.

But if this made in India/Pakistan/Bangladesh islam is scrutinized it claims itself to be sufi, ashiq e rasool etc.

i do not go around poking my head inside mosques to see what is going on but the streets are a ruckus on that day. its not very pretty nor very organized and causes problems to huqooq al ibad of others.

all these activities should be done outside of the city in a big barren area. like slaughter of animals and other stuff.

the cities are way too unclean to have these
