How Indian are not allowed in this thread? Kilo is transferred from India to Myanmar so this topic involves India too....

So coming back to the topic Myanmar already with upper hand in army and airforce now will soon start dominating the bay of Bengal.....

Bangladesh navel force with bellies full of Hilsas won't even dare to venture out of ports if Myanmar decides to blockade Bangladesh if war erupts..... this is KILO the BLACK HOLE impact....

our kilo is already upgraded twice (project 9773 in 1997 and 887 EKM in 2017 ) to project 887 EKM standard which can launch klub missiles with range of 220km. Myanmar spokesperson already confirmed that in a local interview ( probably the same interview with mercedes and somethingun know lol ).

Myanmar has already built and commissioned the submarine base even before the arrival of first Kilo submarine.
All three processes, acquiring the submarine, building the base and training the crews, were implemented simultaneously.
Highly classified submarine base is already completed in the undisclosed location. It is also protected with shore based air defence and anti ship missile batteries.
Kh 35 anti ship missiles from F 11 frigates are also modified with ground radar and relocated to the submarine base as a shore based missile battery.
Unlike Bangladeshi netizens, Myanmar will never disclose any sensitive military installations.
Myanmar Navy sent hundreds of submariners to India, China, Pakistan and and Russia.
According to the military spokesman, Myanmar submariners have already completed more than a dozen round trips with the Kilo between the coast iIndia and Myanmar even before the transfer of the submarine. They also conducted some live firings of torpedoes in the Bay of Bengals.
Myanmar military doctors even received underwater medicines training from Japan.

Buying a submarine is not a big deal. If you have enough money, you can buy it.
However sustaining a submarine fleet is far more complicated.
In order to sustain a submarine fleet with 2 submarines, at least 400 submarine crews and 200 maintenance crew are needed.
That’s why Myanmar put more emphasis on training.
The kilo Myanmar received from India is equipped with Klub. And a number of tripartite discussions between Myanmar, India and Russia were conducted for the transferring of Klub system to Myanmar along with the Kilo.

Impressive..... and yes Myanmar is among those countries who keeps their military developments secret..... all this submarine procurement, on going training enough to show there are more submarines lining up in the future.....

Still you can't do anything against Myanmar over Rohingya issues.....they have upper hand on the land as well as in the air but Kilo and future inductions in Myanmar navy will make them the most dominant power in the bay of Bengal too....

Dumb@ss no one said Kilos aren't a threat , AGAIN these are older versions of Kilos that have been refurbished by your nation who is behind in refurbishment arena.
