The Glory of the Mughal Empire

Yeah, lets combine all the Turkics into a mega. Can you image if Indo-Europeans combined their empire's maps?

They are not the same. Have you seen the average Anatolian in Turkey compared to an Uzbek? An average Anatolian is genetic more related to an Armenian or Greek than a Uzbek. Sure you had some genetic influx from Turkic groups, but there were Arab influx too.
We took foreign wives, problem? Our history is uninterrupted since Ancient times. Don't judge us on our look alone. We had the biggest empires in mankind. History without us can't be written.

Brother @atatwolf , so you're a proponent of Pan-Turkism ?
Yes I want all Turkic peoples to be united or at least have very close ties with Turkic peoples on military, economic and political aspect. If you follow Turkic counsil everything is slowly getting on track. :)

That kingdom at its peak stretched over all of the Sub-continent right upto areas in Afghanistan where mughals were engaged in warring with Safavids. It was one of the richest kingdoms on the planet

@Nihonjin1051

Bro, these people know the reality damn well. They like to believe that mughals disappeared into thin air. Mughals have a pretty big community in Pakistan actually.

Indeed, bro. It was a Behemoth of an Empire! 4.5 Million square KM. And over 200 million souls who were subject to the Moghul Emperor...

This is what they are left in India.

Your base, genetically is Anatolian. Yes, those small eyed Turkics took Greek, Anatolian, Armenian wives till some Ottoman emperors started having red hair!

Same thing happened in Iran, Anatolia, and India!!

Some small eyed conquerors came in, took local wives, and they ended up looking like the local population!

I have to agree with @Water Car Engineer .
Akbar onwards had barely anything to do with Turkey. They genetically mixed with Indians and Afghans. And by the end, they damn well looked like Bengalis!

Their language also changed. You are holding Babur was the benchmark for all the successive Mughals, while that is not true.

They still had the blood of Central Asian Turks in their veins, tho, bro. And maintained the cultural affinities that they had with Safavids. They still retained the use of Persian in the Royal Court, and literally induced the creation of a new language, Urdu.

@Water Car Engineer you are so superficial, don't judge us on our look alone. Most of us still have Turkic look like me.

urdu means army, it was the language of the army

created by us.
Well if somebody appreciates his Turk legacy like @atatwolf, what's the problem? It's a matter of political choice
Don't waste time bro. They don't know that indoeuropean is language clasificatoin. Not a people.

Somehow they think they can compare that to Turkic peoples and their shared history.

Absolutely. Its the beauty of appreciating the history and foundation of an empire / dynasty. When one studies the history of a civilization, one doesn't start at the middle or the end, but starts at the progenitor. In this case,..it starts with Babur, who was a direct descendent of the Barlas Clan , which was Mongol.

Yes they do. But at what point does that cease to be important. When both the parents are of Indian stock, how do they remain Turkic anymore? Sure, they will have some distant connection, but they wont remain 'Turkic' as such by any stretch.

Lastly, Urdu is not a new language. Its majority Hindi with Persian words. Not really a different language in the classical sense. The script was different, and that was probably the only major point.

@Water Car Engineer ,

That is the interesting aspect of genetics, mate. Phenotype, which is the physical manifestation , is influenced by the genotype. Just because an individual does not show a particular facial feature , does not necessarily mean he or she does not have the codons that code for said facial feature ergo, eyes, skin tone, hair type, etc.

Looks matter, you guys look more like your neighbors... Because you're more related to them. Anatolians have some Turkic genetic influx, yes, just like they have Arabian influx.

These three empires are very similar in that ----

I didn't know I was talking to a nazi. We don't care how one looks but where one's heart lies.

You are obsessed about looks. Inferiority complex about your own looks?

That is the propaganda in india only. All acedemic people outside india acknowledge that Urdu in its current form was developed by Turk-persian aristocracy during mughal empire. Hindi is an artificial language that was based on urdu and corrupted with Sanskrit vocabulary. The indigenous languages before the development of urdu were Khari boli, Magadhi, Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri etc. which are still alive in Haryana, UP, Bihar and Rajasthan. The language which is now called Hindi is merely a corrupted form of Urdu with heavy Sanskrit vocabulary developed by Brahmins.
Shan, stop talking like a lunatic.
Hindi predates Urdu and by quite a margin. Urdu is based on Hindi. What experts outside India?
Both Hindi and Urdu were developed in India. The experts are here.
