No they wont. These encroachments are fuelled by a mix of greed and corruption. Greed that began with these stalls set up and continued by people who profited off it by corruption.
Aestheic sense is knowing beauty and keeping a city clean, its the same reason people tend to abhor wuzu gahs in mosques in Pakistan because they are filtheir than offal dumps; cleanliness and understanding for people’s ways.. including traffic flow and crowd movement is important; illegal shops and a system that feeds off them is not.
Thats like saying just because a gambling house was legalized it was wrong to finish it or move it out of people’s way because now those who run it will face u employment.
People will suffer, yes.. but then nothing is gained until years of misuse and corruption is taken out with a hard fist.
The military accounts department has an unofficial bribery distribution network which runs through a pool and is distributed among ranks.. it adds to the otherwise meagre earnings of those government employees working there.
So should it be finished off in the name of justice and fairness or shall we think of the clerks children whose extra 30000 will be lost if it is done?
