The China Ad played on TV - having a huge impact on AMericans!

^^^ English please.

The only people in America that don't buy Chinese product are Amish.

look and I'll make this quick before you have to go back to dish washing duties. re read the post you imagined I had posted and read it again to see where I say I prefer buying American when available and then tell me how you equated it not buying products from another country PERIOD! -again as you have assumed.

...

Bit of humor for you though, lots of junk is made in China/Tiawan/insert other place, but there is a company that makes Chinese eggrolls that have an American flag on the back and state in bold letters "Proudly made in the USA." Although, I must say that it's great to see people taking pride in thier home, even if they go against the grain. Most other companies won't do that, but instead will put the details in hard to read font.

...

So true. And it is not a humor. It is a normal behavior for any common people.

I once attended a huge international conference in Beijing many years ago. I met a standard American. He said he talked with a lot of Chinese government officials in attempting to invest/make money. He told me he had no reservation in shouting slogans such as “support Communist Party of China”, “love China”, “down with US”, “build a socialist country”… whatever the officials love to hear, as long as he could make profit.

The washing dishes reference really stung. Real mature.
That's like me throwing out a 7-Eleven or cab driver reference. Ha ha.

It is impossible to not buy Chinese products. Especially if you work at Walmart.

sympathy boy, there will always be cheap goods from china in our markets. No worries. You know why- because we have this thing called human and worker rights in the US. we can't make ours work in shanty's and get away on sub human like work conditions and pay.

Yea, i bet the Chinese love to work like that right even thou the other choice would be starving on the street.

sigh...........lets all bash China even thou all the money was wasted by the government itself. Does American think Iraq/Afghan war cost $0, i bet those wonderful 100+ tomahawk missile launch at libya cost nothing too right??? it all China fault!!!!!! Lets all conclude all Chinese good are junk and the FAQ that more people can afford more for their money is all rubbish. In conclusion, lets shut down China because this would magically bring back all the "Made in USA" stuff and no country can produce thing at lower cost than USA except China!!!! WOOOOOT

Maybe US should have tomahawk and other missiles made in China.

LOL! Instead of 100,000 a piece, bet you 10,000 a piece can be achieved.

...and out-source ground invasion to PLA.

That's how free market works.

It's ironic humor. :P Seriously, the only thing in the frozen food section at the store I work in to display Made in USA as largely as that on the back is something that is associated mainly with China. I should take a picture on my next work day and email it to myself so I can share it with you guys. :D

The only people in America that don't buy Chinese product are Amish.

They also don't use electricity, including computers.

By the way, niether one of us said we don't buy Chinese goods, rather we prefer American goods.

There are also certain people who lack the brainpower for using motorized transport. We can't blame them, they were born that way.

The Amish could, if they wanted to. They choose not to for religious beliefs.

Someone get Obama on the line. I think we found our answer to every conflict ever. :D

Cheaper to outsource to Indian Army and pay them in bread. Cheaper and just as effective. No bread if they don't do their jobs is the motivation. Helps reduce world starvation too.

How much bread do they get? What kind of bread? There's so many variables to that equation to be figured out. Will bleached flour be used? Who will be paying the bakers? Are we outsourcing the bakeries as well? :P

An Indian with an IQ reference. I'm so intimidated (NOT).

Okay, genius, name me ten American made (non-grocery) products that you buy.
To make it easier, name me five.

Unfortunately it will create US jobs in the agriculture and food processing industry. The bakeries should be in house Indian Army ones that buy flour from the US.

Can we give them fruit cakes instead? Those things last forever, so there will be no worries of the food expiring, because bread has an insanely small shelf life.

Who got the Americans into their 14 trillion dollar debt?

Who has been spending their money, and getting them into unsustainable levels of debt and deficit?

Their own government.

The Americans had an opportunity to fix the problem before, but instead, they vote for a government that spends even MORE money.
