TF-X Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircraft Projects

Cause we cancelled HQ9 project, copied their missiles and offer them on the market (for example Poland).
Now they know how russia and others feel hahaha:chilli:. Turkey should copy the most important technologies they can get their hands on.

Thanks for the explanation. Why should the gov't opt for any other company than the RR/Kale JV in the first place? It wouldn't make sense at all.

Faster development time and it reduces overall program risk due to being based on an existing design. If RR JV is expected to take a long time they might have to sign both deals.

In this case, we couldn't export this system for many years, right? Because the Germans are part of that company we're talking about. Is it possible that a German veto can be overruled by the majority of the consortium partners?

Yeah probably. If the RR JV got delayed/cancelled it would end up like Altay with the first batch using the restricted foreign engine (but better than no engine..). But I'm just speculating here, they haven't signed anything with Eurojet yet.

Richard Moore seems like a really nice guy. You should see him on twitter, really a friend of the Turkish people.
