Alot of these weapon's dumps are old and have been safeguarded for years in the hope that the terrorists can rebuild their strength to pre 2010 levels

Except that Ak47 . That's the type of rifle which never gets old.
The Russian markings on those mortars shows the Indian funding of weapons to terrorists. The Indian army uses the same Russian made mortars at our LOC . Indian army probably gave them mortars straight from their ammunition depot.

I am very cynical whenever I see the news and pictures of these "finds". I will believe in a new find if the ones found earlier are shown to be crushed and destroyed without any editing with close camera angle,

as for what happens to these weapons. some are stored to be used to show in next press briefings. or
destroyed but good pieces are stolen and sold off or distributed among friends

BLA has bought weapons like G3s from law enforcing agency members as well,
