What's new

Terrorists in saffron by Swami Agnivesh

The RSS thing is way overblown, you guys, starting with your leader, handsome, have RSS psychosis.

Take me for instance, voted Modi twice, as things stand, I will vote a third time to keep him in power too. (unless something changes)

We support Kashmir's article 370 abrogation, ballsy move, LOVE Modi/Shah for it.
We support the CAA
Will support the NRC/NPR and kicking out illegal BD muslims
We want a UCC

Most people I know agree with all of the above but none are in RSS, aren't particularly religious at all, they're mostly atheist/agnostic/apatheistic. We even make fun of the RSS, and Modi at times. He's no great dear leader, just someone who is carrying out the will of the people of this country so he has our votes for now.

Religious discussions are not allowed and discouraged here, plus they tend to get rotten and a shit sling fest most times so we wont go there but the Hindu mindset, the dharmic philosophy or call it what you want.. will be very tough for strict followers of Islam to even grasp. Basically, when you guys sprout out stuff like "religious fundamentalism".. you're completely missing the point and are waay off.

There is a wave of cultural nationalism in India, or civic nationalism.. not based on religion but culture. There actually are muslims that do support the BJP. Other groups apart from Hindus also support the BJP and their agenda.

RSS and their nazi admiring muslim hating roots have nothing to do with how things are playing out today. There is not going to be any genocide of muslims, and what divisions and fissures exist in society here have always existed. PM Modi has done nothing in terms of making people hateful or anything.

That cultural nationalism is full of contradictions as it really is brahmin nationalism. It is hollow really as can be seen in farmer protests.
You are saying that Most people I know agree with all of the above but none are in RSS, aren't particularly religious at all, they're mostly atheist/agnostic/apatheistic. We even make fun of the RSS,

You people do not like and support RSS. bit only BJP led Govt,

But the reality and fact is Modi led BJP Govt is a political wing of RSS, among others, and they are carrying out and implementing RSS wishes / ideology and agenda, so all who support Modi and BJP are supporting RSS knowingly or unknowingly, accepting or denying wont change the facts.

He knows it. He doesnt really hate rss. Infact he cunningly disowns it whenever need to brandish his respectabiltiy in forums like this. But he wont lose any sleep of rss policies effecting muslims or others.

.
There is no cultural nationalism in India.

Bakwaas.

It is plain and simple Hindutva.

Which is a very Abrahamicized Hindu nationalism.

As diametrically distant to the core dharmism as is possible.

In every sphere of thought.

With Hindus making 80% of India, it would be possible for the naive and simplistic to wonder then that isn't Hindu nationalism = Cultural nationalism.

Ask any non Hindu Indian today after two terms of this government.

It is not.

Cheers, Doc

Farmer protests are an economic issue for a few rich feudal landlords.

There is no such thing as "Brahminism", let alone "brahmin nationalism", it's a Marxist construct, a falsity, like every single other one of their constructs. 🖕

Done my fair share of gutter trolling here over the years, not interested anymore. "cowpiss drinker nazi brahmin" etc...*yawwn*

Try come up with something a bit more substantiative and empirical in nature when you make your arguments, will you ? Thanks.

I agree with you on the Brahmanism bs. Pakistanis on the large part are a clueless Pavlovian lot responding on cue to key trigger words.

What I did not get was your quoting my post about the basis of Hindutva with three forwards of your own.

Some elaboration in your own words as a response to mine would be appreciated.

Indian to Indian.

Cheers, Doc

Virus,
May I point out a contradiction here? Don't exactly know what you mean by "feudal farmers".

India carried out land reforms in the 1950s abolishing zamindari so
there are no "feudal landlords " as such. There is pseudo-feudalism in India, chiefly in Bihar, Eastern UP and Andhra, where the Land Ceiling Act (limiting the personal ownership of rural agricultural land to 40 acres) has been circumvented by the original landlords using "benami" or false registered ownership. However there are no feudal farmers because there is no tenancy as such. There are no peasants or ryots as they were earlier called who tilled the lands and gave a portion of their income to the feudal landlords.
India's farmers either farm the fields themselves ( increasingly using mechanized equipment) or employ landless rural labor. It is only in Bihar, UP and Andhra that landless labor is used and on a different topic there are disputes on wages and working conditions.
The bulk majority of the farmers in the protests are from Punjab, Haryana, and Western UP where there are only farmers who till the fields themselves. The real "feudal farmers" are from Bihar and UP belonging to the Thakur, Bhumihar, and Brahmin castes and these are core supporters of the BJP-RSS-VHP.

(Won't comment on your ignorance)
"Brahminism " is not a "Marxist Construct". In fact a large number of the chief Marxist ideologues in India ( Jyoti Basu, Pramod Dasgupta, Charu Majumdar, EMS Namboodripad, Rajeshwar Rao) were themselves Brahmins.
Brahminism is a term invented by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar who compiled India's constitution and is currently used by the neo-Buddhist Dalit Ambedkarite activists hailing mostly from Maharashtra. As discussed during several previous discussions
Anti-Brahminism doesn't automatically translate into secularism or any sympathy for minorities or Muslims.
B.R.Ambedkar was as viciously anti-Islam, anti-Muslim as his contemporary Guruji M.S. Golwalkar ( whom you obviously admire).
I personally view Brahminism in a broader context when in fact the years when India has been in the hands of a Brahmin leadership (regardless of which political party is in power ) there has been a remarkably inclusive and secular environment. Indira Gandhi, Desai, Shastri, Narasimha Rao, and Vajpayee are examples. Vajpayee is the last Brahmin prime minister India will ever have. It is Mota Bhai and Yogiji going forward.

We are sure you could do better...
For Indian's who are usually perceptive and write well, you are an exception to the rule.

If you find the above response "substantive " please respond.
Thanks 🙏🏻

We are extremely comfortable with Hinduism and Hindus. Both are easygoing and accommodative and gave always given us the privacy and space our faith needs.

We are also extremely comfortable with a certain type of sophisticated Muslim, upper crust, who mainstream in our social circles pretty effortlessly.

We are of course most uncomfortable about the faith that made us seek refuge in a foreign land.

And every Parsi will do what he can in his or her own capacity to work with the Hindus in protecting this land and it's people from a similar fate.

Hope that's honest enough for you.

The Parsis in Pakistan have chosen their own bed.

We have no quarrel with them. Few as they are left there anyways.

Cheers, Doc

Why would sophisticated Muslims rape other Muslims and rip wombs man.

You seem to have come from a tough neighborhood.

Most of ours at max rip tandoori crab or mutton raan.

Cheers, Doc

It's quite ironic people talking of Hindutva and how dangerous it is (it is) and people trying to implement it got their inspiration from Shariah and Catholic laws and decided to implement Hinduism from Abrahamic point of view?
Does this mean any Pakistani Muslim here would come here and point out that when they say everyone are equal, does that mean equality is only limited to the corporation that is called Islam? (Taking from Ambedkar words).
It's sadly true that Islam dis not have one Ambedkar with a mass following and a staunch critic of one's own religion to bring about reform.

Your "sophisticated" brahmins do and they bankroll and defend them from washington to pakdef forums in a "sophisticated" manner. Basically you love elite and elitism and not morals. Obviously you magi are an elite and so are brahmins. You would even be comfortable with sophisticated nazis . I mean it is clear where you stand.

THe chankayaness to shoot at muslims from shoulders of ambedkar. Then dump ambedkar when need is done.

Ambedkar was an imbecile, I don't know why Muslims in India praise him, especially our dear leader Owaisi. He was typical, at the end of the day he hated Muslims more than he hated his upper caste oppressors.

Of course it's clear where I stand.

Even Pakistanis and Indians who hate me will agree to that.

Life is too short to be defensive about what you say.

It's like potty. The more you keep it inside, the more only you suffer.

Cheers, Doc

Khem Cho,
Am waiting for your response on a different thread on why Samji didn't roll into Pakistan.
Actually he went there two months later in 1972 to sign away Jaurian and Thakochak in Chamb.with Tikka Khan.
His video account of his visit is quite telling.
That was one chance the Parsis had to take back their land under their greatest general since Rustom and they blew it.
( The Shah's F-4 Phantoms, and M60 tanks would have been blown away by the Simurgh)
