Terror Attacks from Afghanistan on Pakistan Continue

Zaravan, I'm still waiting for the proofs that you're suppose to provide for your claim. you said that India supports this TTP, please provide the proof!

I agree with you completely.

But that is your border as well is n't it.So the PA is just doing there job, defending their border.
Bhai koi ehsaan toh nahin hai na Afghanistan ya Nato pe .Unki responsibilty hai Pakistan ka Border bachana jo woh kar rahein hain.

Since you said this isn't their responsibility they also lost the right to accuse Pakistan of any infiltration by militants. Pakistan is already performing it's job and it's now for the other side to take care of the other side of the border. And if they don't consider securing Pak-Afghan border from their side as their duty they already lost the right to accuse or blame Pakistan of anything. Right comes with responsibility you know. ;)

Without any iota of a doubt, NATO/US forces are facilitating these attacks

It is just not possible that such large numbers of armed militants go completely unnoticed by the forces present on the other side of the border.

I would concur.

Such daring cross-border raids cannot go unnoticed and that too specially under US surveillance. Something is fishy about all this.

Are you mad or what? How dare you question US and Nato? You sure are a conspiracy theorist which needs to be eliminated in the larger interest of not only American and Pakistan but the whole f*cking world!

hmmm.... Now pakistanis are blaming US that under their guidance they are able to do that ....

I want to ask a question when u people says that america is loosing war in afganistan and this tribals are kicking their a%%es in afganistan.. dont u people see the other way..

If this taliban can attack US army inside afganistan , so what is the big deal if they do the same in pakistan territory..

Isn't that region called the "safe heaven" what does that implies ??

Despite Karzai's assurance that he will check attacks by Afghan National Army on civilians in Pakistan yet another attack took place

KHAR: Scores of armed militants crossed the border from Afghanistan on Thursday and stormed a village in the country’s tribal belt, killing five civilians, Pakistani officials said.
Well, well! You mean the Afghan National Army (ANA), a service branch of the military of Afghanistan, (The other being the Afghan National Army Air Force) which is currently being trained by the coalition forces to ultimately take the role in land-based military operations in Afghanistan, are the 'militants' that crossed over into Pakistan and killed five civilians?

Make up your mind. Were they Afghan militants or the ANA? Unless of course you consider the Afghan Army or the ANA as militants and vice versa! Jeeez! :azn:

Are you sure? Looks like, Afghanistan has yet not learned to respect international borders.
Oh? Why don't you guys practice what you preach? How about the blatant infiltration of the LeT and JeM into Kashmir from your side which has been going on since more than a decade? That JuD bozo Hafiz Saeed in his recent characteristic fiery speech in the middle of Lahore boasted that he would soon send his so called 'commandos' into India to create mayhem! Has any action been taken by the authorities in Pakistan to check the LeT and other groups from infiltrating into India? Simple answer - NO! How can they when they are PA's 'strategic assets'? See? Only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches!

This I would call Violation of sovereignty of a country by proxy.

I would however, like to express my condolences to those who died! RIP.

Sir we trust Afghan Taliban and they are not attacking us TTP is which if funded by you and America

Dear forum readers, is it not true that these militants use every opportunity to target US Forces in Afghanistan and your military on Pakistani soil? The wrath we face for standing against their evil doing and ideology of hatred is not funded by the US. Have not Pakistan and the US together suffered terrorism? US suffered terrorism on and since 9/11 while innocent Pakistanis continue to be preyed upon by insurgents. Their common quest to overthrow our governments and damage our sovereignty leaves no doubt that we face and must, with great purpose, protect our nation by defeating a common enemy. Forum readers, does not the imagination of conspiracy theorists, who are not in touch with reality, promote false propaganda without a shred of evidence? Dear readers would it not be beneficial and a welcome relief for “Pakdefender” to provide the forum with evidence and cease and desist with his baseless allegations which do not carry a shred of authority? Afghan, Pakistan and international forces work round the clock to defeat Qaeda and Taliban to guarantee a better life for future generations.

Dear readers, does not failure to identify culprits and lack of communication between us not encourage our common enemy to continue its terrorist operations against us? Our cooperation is beneficial to us while at the same time stopping the insurgents. Can we not agree that the current state of affairs requires us to be fully alert and to keep our focus on eliminating Al Qaeda and Taliban terrorism?

Pakistan protests to US, Afghans over incursions

ISLAMABAD (AP) — Pakistan has lodged a protest with the U.S. and Afghanistan over border incursions by NATO aircraft and militants.

The Foreign Ministry said Friday it told the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad of its "serious concern" about an alleged air incursion by NATO aircraft in Mohmand tribal area.

It accuses NATO aircraft of attacking a Pakistani military post, but does not say when the incident occurred.

The ministry also has summoned a top Afghan official to lodge a protest about an insurgent incursion into Bajur tribal region.

It says up to 150 militants from Afghanistan attacked three Pakistani villages, killing five people Thursday.

U.S. and Afghan officials did not immediately comment.

KHAR:
At least 12 militants were killed on Friday in clashes between Afghan militants and volunteers of Mamond Qaumi Lashkar – a tribal militia – on the border of the Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province.

One lashkar volunteer was reported to be injured.

On Thursday, hundreds of heavily-armed militants had intruded and attacked Sarkai, Manro Jangal and Mokha villages of Mamond tehsil of the Bajaur Agency, killing five. Sources said the clashes continued for a second consecutive day.

Security forces also pounded militant hideouts with heavy artillery and mortars. Sources said that security forces were conducting search operation in these areas but the militants have fled, leaving behind heavy arms and ammunition.

Locals said that militants have been pushed back into Afghanistan after security forces and lashkar mounted a joint attack.

They said that security forces and the lashkar were carrying out joint patrols in the area while the security forces have also set up check-posts. This is the third time over the past two months that Afghan militants have crossed into Pakistan. This is, however, the first time that it has happened in Bajaur Agency. Earlier, two similar clashes took place in Lower and Upper Dir districts on April 22 and June 1, respectively.

Pakistan protests

Pakistan on Friday lodged a strong protest with Afghanistan over cross border incursion by armed militants in Bajaur Agency.

A statement issued by the Foreign Office said that Afghanistan Charge d’ Affaires Majnoon Gulab was summoned and was handed over a strong demarche containing serious concerns of the government.

In addition, the government of Afghanistan was asked to prevent such cross-border incidents from occurring in the future.

Meanwhile, serious concern over air incursion by Isaf/Nato aircraft that attacked Pakistan Military Ziarat post in South Mohmand inside Pakistan, has been conveyed to the US Embassy in Islamabad.

In this regard, a joint inquiry of the incident has also been requested and the matter has been taken up with the US/NATO/ISAF on both military and diplomatic tracks, said the other statement issued by the Foreign Office.
