Temple constructed by Aurangzeb at Chitrkoot

I have been to Chitrakoot but did not get a chance to go this temple. Though one thing is sure, the main reason Mughal empire is not got that glorification is due to 2 characters, one was Babur and another & bigger one was Aurangzeb. If they have shown respect to other's religion then Mughal empire might have much glory in the account which was added by Akbar.

and we hindus appreciate good deeds of asoka which he mostly did after he left hinduism and unlike aurangzed Ashoka The Great never carried out forced conversions

Funny!! Asoka was not even Hindu in his later life..he became buddhist...but he is still revered by Hindus as the greatest Indian emperor..not for his military conquests as hindu but for the good he has done to India after he became a buddhist...

What article were you reading? It clearly says he was impressed that the man saved the lives of his men so he ordered the building of a grand temple. Would you have preferred he just have killed the man instead??
