it is the attitude of you people
how can you let the people who are responsible for these comedies unfold?
luk mr. chinaman, if we had to acquire aircrafts from russia, reverse engineer those and later give them different names like j10, 11, 15 etc, we would hav done that in a better way than u. but unlike u we dont involve ourselves in illegal practices.

The world’s lightest combat aircraft (LCA), Tejas, received the much-awaited initial operational clearance to be commissioned in the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Friday.

The clearance paves the way for the full-scale production of the fighter jet from next month. Although the jet will be ready for use in combat operations by end-2014 or early 2015, the made-in-India aircraft will replace the ageing MiG 21 fleet by 2019.

Tejas, world's lightest fighter jet, set to join India Air Force - India - DNA

An impartial "certificate" of tejas's performance would be its sale to a foreign country who would have evaluated plane on performance, price, maintenance, training curve and potency.

Its good that Indian pilots are enjoying their home-grown fighter and it is an important milestone which a home-grown fighter has to cross - but its not the first and only one.

Boys three pages of crap replying a troll, please stop replying.

mig 21 is an antique
if tejas is better than mig 21, it is a super antique.

Yes atleast its better than its predecessor. Not like cheap Chinese copy junk which is always low grade and useless.

lca stands for many terms - leaking cockpit airplane, lost confidence airplane, losing combat airplane ..
If iaf says it is just better than mig-21 and it costs $40 mio apiece; and still cant obtain its final operation certification after 3 decades is already a declared failure.

If you cant apperciate a good work of HAl .Just STFU.At least we dont copy another country design
.It is our design
