Tejas fighter finally achieves production target

Only if it could deploy ... Are you comparing a completely operational plane with plane not yet achieved FOC? As of now Tejas is not even given FOC for BVR missiles so techinically Tejas cannot even fire BVR missiles? So if you are comparing to be the future plan then kindly compare it with thunder blk 3 ... not with blk 1 (a decade old) or blk 2 (deployed in 2013) and is expected to complete the production in next year ...

So I guess your navy is inducting FC-1 in large numbers for its carrier right? Leave Pakistani navy, how many aircrafts have the Chinese inducted? The country which built the plane?
Thanks for confirming that you're a pee brain.

What wrong did he say?
It's FC1
And might be 50 50 on paper but factually it's 100 0
It's pretty damn amazing that our "100 0" jet is getting export orders from other countries, while your 100 100 is rejected by your own Navy & Airforce. Lol

Rejected?
When did air force reject? Can you show some proof?
Naval version was rejected cause of being heavy for carrier operations & not double engine.
Even JF don't have naval version.
India don't even have enough production line for itself, let alone export.

Outsourcing to private defence firms has been key to achieving HAL’s production targets. “HAL is now focusing mainly on putting together large assemblies that are built and supplied by private aerospace companies. That has allowed us to speed up work exponentially”, says Raju.

HAL has created five “Tier-1” suppliers that each build a part of the Tejas. The front fuselage is supplied by Dynamatic Technologies Ltd, Bengaluru; the centre fuselage by VEM Technologies, Hyderabad; rear fuselage by Alpha Tocol, Bengaluru; wings by Larsen & Toubro, Coimbatore; and the tail fin and rudder by National Aerospace Laboratory and Tata Advanced Materials Ltd.

Each of these Tier-1 suppliers sources components and sub-assemblies from lower-order Tier-2 and Tier-3 suppliers, creating an aerospace industry around the Tejas.
In addition, a range of equipment is sourced from other private firms that are emerging as players in the aerospace realm: avionics racks and air intakes from Lakshmi Machine Works, Coimbatore; electrical panels from Amphenol, Pune; slats and elevons from Aequs, Belgaum; pipelines from Rangson, Mysore, and precision mechanical assemblies from Sri Koteswara Cam Systems, Secunderabad.

HAL plans to eventually outsource 69 per cent of the production of Tejas structural modules, with just 31 per cent of the work done in-house – consisting mainly of assembly and equipping work.
This is the key- increased outsourcing to private sector with HAL taking the role of lead integrator. With no addtional infrastructure HAL can up production capacitt to >20 units/year without adding any physical infrastructure but by increasing the outsourcing content to 85%.

Noticeable point here is the standard to get clearance,

We are comparing the bars set by respective air forces. Tejas with better engine, better pay load, better range, better etc. (the list is long) is not able to clear IAF standards. Tejas MK1 on paper is better than JF BL2, but PAF induscted JF B1 decade ago!!!!

IAF requirements are different than that of PAF, hence the strict cutoffs.

Making compromise and inducting substandard products (like JF) is not sign of professional forces.

Says the Army of biggest substandard domestic products ranging from INSAS, Arjunk & most importantly Tejas & countless others.

Says the guy who posted a news article about the LCA navy version being overweight (which happens because it's airframe & landing rear is strengthened for deck landing & ski jump take off) to bash LCA AF version.
When is Tejunk getting the FOC?
