Tehran 3rd Intl. Bayan Programing competition
The International Bayan Programming Contest is an annual programming event in which talented programmers compete. Competitors are free to choose their programming language. It is an individual contest, divided into two categories of student and free sections.
The event launched its first edition in 2012.
Now in its third year, the contest is coming to its end with the participation of 103 countries of the world on Friday May 1, 2015 at Parisan Azadi Hotel, Tehran.
“10,266 competitors from 103 countries took part in the contest; 5,839 participants from other countries and 4,427 participants from Iran now comprise the competitors of the final round,” said the executing manager of the event, Sina Masoumi.
According to Masoumi, 39 European countries, 34 Asian, 15 American, 14 African and 2 Pacific countries attended the third edition of the contest which shows a double increase compared to the previous editions.
The International Bayan Programming Contest invites competitors to compete in solving problems inspired by real world scenarios. The three top competitors will recieve medals, gold coins and a $1000 worth of Iranain handicrafts.
