Hindustan has been and currently is a larger beggar than Pakistan. It receives more aid than Pakistan ever did. Our situations have always been different but it is the tenacity of the Pakistan state which has allowed us to thrive and face off malicious neighbors like India and Iran. Things are changing.

No one will respect you if you don't respect yourself. Look at the Indians. They are the largest purveyors of E.Coli but still boast of non-existent achievements. Or perhaps don't be that overconfident. That's not good as well.

When a nation have culture of lazyness, selfishness and no practical love for country then the situation become what Pakistan is facing now, we have all what nature can give but no nation wide sincerity.

As per national interest Pakistan should have started shifting it's economic and military dependence on USA, but still all key economic and military things are attached with USA and that will hurt Pakistan in future if it decided to pursue independent foreign policy.

Pursue of more F-16s should have been left sine 2000 by PAF because US is not our strategic partner.

F-16s for India will put pressure on PAF to have more of them or go for another platform because tech and number gap will be increased with this added purchase of India.

There are good people and there are bad people in all countries. It is unfair to characterized the whole nation with such lewd remarks. Pakistan has faced off the massive problems. It has defeated one super power and it is winning against the other one. That was a necessity which carried costs. We should be proud of our country's achievements and work to correct its problems.

With regards to the F-16s, yes we faced strong headwinds in recent times. But it was an absolutely correct path as we already have the complete infrastructure in place for operating the F-16. If we abandon that, it becomes extremely costly to switch to other platforms.

Now that purchase of additional F-16s has been torpedoed, it is a setback but not a catastrophe. Pakistan has been brilliant enough to cement its alliance with China, and as we are natural partners, we know that we can source our leading fighters from them. So it is not an issue.

Let me tell you one more thing. India can spend billions of dollars on buying latest equipment, but it can never build a strong enough force to attack Pakistan. Almost all aspects of the IAF are in tatters, from its aging Mig-21s to its disastrous pilot training program which has caused their pilot-to-cockpit ratio to fall below critical levels. Add to that the fact IAF has to split its forces to face China, and our alliance with the Chinese, and it is no secret that Pakistan has India pinned down.

All of a su dden so many Indian members are praising and giving encouraging statement about f-16 70 block or not but it's very rear that members who been on this forum never acknowledges the capabilities of f16 against any other fighter specially in IAF
@gurudt you wrote in one of your post about f16 stationed almost a decade in India by Singapore airforce any specific reason did you guys loaned them one of your base or they also have a beef with Pakistan

well thing is we are practissing on singapren Blk52s(in west bengal india where they are based with singaporean fighter pilots) and with israeli SUFA F16s (in israel with israeli fighter pilots) for at least a decade now and its a open secret in aviation world and were negociating with LM & US DOD for the same for last couple of years for the best possible deal and TATA & one more india firm for competeing for the tender but TATA won the tender

now IAF likes F16 BLK 70 as it is much much ahead as to what was orderred in MRCA deal to us and due to recnt logistics & miltarry assets sharing deal signed with USA we are now legitimate allies of USA like Israel or UK or Aistralia or Japan hence we can get anything we want without any strings attached and any missile if its not neuclear and since we are also members of MTCR we are going to get longer range versions of anty radiation and aor launched ground attaches PGMs. ACLMs BVRs and every other weapons that F16 can fire and we will get it wuthout any hiccup cause we will be paying for it in hard cash up front

and the F16 Blk 70 we are getting are much much ahead of what ever LM has offrred to any of its allies so far rest you speculate yourslef we are going or looking to have at least 12 full squads (18 birds in each squad)

guess what we also having FGFA and PAKFA deal already done(even toke money paid ) and in pipeline while you havent even made a deal yet and prtotype construction already on of Desi AMCA so much so already 36 rafale on order while 54 to be orderred shrtly only PM nod to be given after new indian president election is over while deal pending for MLU for 272 MKI with next gen GaN AESA radara and combined EW+ECM+ jammaer & avionicks suite and new set of 5th gen engines what your going to do about them ?
