Tank Designs

Differences between the Pakistani version of the T-84 BM Oplot-Т from Thai modifications will address the presence on Pakistani tank instead of a steering wheel integrated traffic management system, the presence of the control levers as the Ukrainian tank T-80UD "Birch", previously supplied by Ukraine in Pakistan during 1996 -2000 years in the amount of 320 tanks.

Is the last tank to the right of the bottom image arjun tank or leopard 2 ?

But you guys have problems in mass producing this tank.

I understand correctly, that there are four main reasons for the long implementation by Ukraine of the Thai Tank contract. The first reason is that after the implementation of the 2002 Pakistani contract name Malyshev Plant whole long 11 years without serious standing orders. For long 11 years, the plant has not produced a single new tank. This is the hard truth.

After making changes, the two sides will give T-84 tanks BM Oplot-P and VT-4 (The MBT-3000) in 2017 for the second phase of comparative military trials, after which Pakistan will choose for themselves a new tank. It will be Chinese or Ukrainian tank.

Any chance of Pak buying a new 1500 hp engine from Ukraine? Also are the tanks to be bought with transfer of technology?

The Stug despite looking like a tank isnt really tank rather, its classified as a assault gun. It was also best armored vehicle of the 2nd world war. Its succes would inspired the production of Zrínyi and Semoventi assault guns made by Hungry and Italy.

The second reason for the prolonged execution of the contract of Thai - it
shortage of personnel. The vast number of production workers who were involved in the production of Pakistani tanks T-80UD "Birch" at the time of the conclusion and implementation by Ukraine of the Thai contract due to a lack of orders for a long time retired.

Very good and urgent question!
Yes indeed, Ukraine has two promising tank engine, which develops on its own. These engines have a promising tank - promising Ukrainian-stroke opozitnye tank 6TD-3 capacity 1400-1500 hp and 6TD-4 power 1600 - 1650 horsepower.

Yes. So there is a tank T-84 BM Oplot. With the prospect of installing a tank T-84 BM Oplot-P Ukrainian perspective Tank Engine 6TD-3 capacity of 1,400 horsepower. But it will be a modified tank with new options and opportunities.

The third reason for the protracted contract execution Thai Ukraine - Russian Federation's aggression against an independent state of Ukraine. When the plant at the time of active hostilities in the east of Ukraine was forced to switch from the implementation of the Thai contract for the restoration, repair and upgrading of damaged during the fighting Ukrainian T-64BM (BM Bulat).

Stug 'the best armored assault gun' of WW2?
First of all, there are a variety of StuGs, with different armaments and armor, so which are you referring to specifically?

StuG III, ausfuhrung A, B, C, D, E (short 75mm StuK 37 L/24), StuG III Ausfuhrung F (long 75mm StuK 40 L/43), StuG III Ausfuhrung F/8 (yet longer 75mm StuK 40 L/48, 50mm frontal armor), and StuG III Ausfuhrung G (75mm StuK 40 L/48, 80mm frontal armor, Saukopf/‘Topfblende gun mantlet, higher roof). And then there is the StuG IV (75mm StuK 40 L/48, Saukopf/‘Topfblende gun mantlet, high roof), which formed the basis of Jagdpanzer IV (75mm PaK 39L/48), followed by Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) and Jagdpanzer IV/70(A) with 75mm Pak 42 L/70?

In addition to Stug III and IV, the Germans had Sturm Infantrygeschutz 33b and Sturmhaubitze 42 on the same PzKw III chassis (80mm max armor) and Sturmpanzer 43 Brummbar on PzKw IV chassis (100mm max. armor).

The best known Russian armored assault gun is the 47 ton ISU-152, with max.120mm hull and 320mm gun mantlet.

The fourth reason for the protracted contract execution Thai Ukraine - a small amount of the contract ordered by Thailand tanks. If Thailand used initially ordered 50 tanks did not, but at least 150 tanks, I am confident that Thai contract would have long ago made the Ukraine. The axiom is simple - the larger the contract, the faster it runs.

Ukrainian soldiers and tankman in eastern Ukraine on tanks T-64BV defend the independence of Ukraine Russian against the external aggressor.
