We have massive poverty and over population as we don't enforces check the birth rates among most poverty stricken population of India .

China is developing because it controls its population.

But in india ,there is always demand for more poor people who vote for political parties ruling India.
Thats why we are even bringing in more poor people from neighboring countries such as Bangladesh .

And there are methods coming up to take corrupt people to court.
We have Central Vigilance and Right for Information Act.

You must have noticed there has been a spurt of corruption being disclosed.That is because any body with 200 rs can file an RTI and the concerned office is bound to reply.
Things take time...China was a dragon sleeping for over 200 years.Only in 20 years it has started flying.

Unless we put a check on the unbridled birth rate among the most poorest section of the population ,there can be no substantial improvement in social indices however hard we may try . Our national resources is limited and cann't be expanded to reach everyone of the one Billion population.

We need stringent measures enforced that can be very unpopular and lip service or NGO work can never eliminate poverty related issues.
