T129 Deliveries To Pakistan Are On Schedule And Their Is No Blockade From US : TAI

ok so when is delivery ?

TAI is quick to build T129
TAI told me 2021 (at IDEAS 2018).

Bro Turks r far ahead of.u in technology they r about to launch their own electronic warfare system name = Koral and Turkish drones have advanced spying system more advanced than Pakistanis that will be helpful in border areas.protection and secondly they r fighting pkk most dangerous organization so it is in favour of Pakistan to learn other countries tactics
We are not competitor we are brothers we are happy that Turks are advance than us and we pray for more .

Nato didn't give us anything, in fact, they forced us to procure off-the-shelf-products for decades. The overwhelming majority of our defence products are developed during the past 20 years. Quit this BS about Nato and EU giving us free technology. There are plenty of reports of China assisting Pakistan in defence related projects, too, which is totally fine. We both still need foreign knowhow and we should aim to get as much as possible but saying that the West helped us build a decent defence industry is flat-out wrong.

Besides, I don't believe in 'I'm better than you!' debates. If we take the last 20 years as a base to judge our achievements, Turkey wins. If you take into account Pakistan's nuclear weapons and missiles, Pakistan wins.

You see, both nations are not comparable. Why? Because both did what they had to do to meet all regional challenges.

relax Champo, No one say Turkey gets free lunch , what I say that Turkey have access to EU technology unlike Pakistan, and Pakistan was plunge into a War which destroyed our Economy , rest of your post means nothing .

Syria, Iraq, Cyprus, Greece, Armenia etc. are our neighbours. The EU hasn't give us anything related to defense industry. Try harder.

I know. Everything that is made in Pakistan, every technology that Pakistan can provide and every system that Pakistan matures is making our lives easier at the end of the day.

As per some sources First 10 will be Atak 1 and the Next 20 will be Atak 2. There might be a follow up order of 30 more.

I even invite you to go further and browse through some threads in the Turkish section. All of your 'criticism' is ill-natured and biased.

Those who know me know that I'm the last person to go overboard and brag about developments that has been successfully completed by others decades ago.

On top of that, there are plenty of reasons to criticise the Turkish industry; wasting of precious resources, wrongly set goals and lack of vision just to name few points.

However, people like you are popping out en masse for some time now which is a pretty good indication that Turkey is - generally speaking - on the right track.

We never hide the fact that engines are mostly foreign but just few years ago people made fun of Turkish users when they explained that this is just a temporary state we'll successfully pass through.

And it's happening: https://uasweekly.com/2019/03/05/tu...is-anka-2-uas-to-make-first-flight-this-year/

We're still far behind and anyone denying this is an idiot. But the way you're portraying the Turkish industry tells me that you are speaking without any fact based knowledge.

I'm beginning to understand how the Chinese must have felt.

Bro, Turkish def industry is headed in the right direction, I think what other members are trying to convey is something like this: when one of your kids is good in studies, you push him for more. You want him to set benchmarks.

Pakistan is doing well too, why do you think the US keeps saying "do more."

Hope you understand.

Best Regards

This was never about Pakistan in the first place. A certain user insinuated that NATO and EU provided us with all the tech we needed ensuring our success. Why? 'Cause we're lovely.

I'm well aware of the fact that Pakistanis usually wait to reveal a project until it's completed and successfully tested which sometimes may look like stagnation but it's actually quite the opposite. Plus, read the thread again, Pakistanis were critical of Pakistan; we Turks didn't say anything in this regard.

Having said that, of all people why should I be critical of anything that Pakistan achieves? I'm a Turk. My nation is the biggest beneficiary of anything and everything that Pakistanis successfully do or achieve.

Pakistan is our ultima ratio, our safe place and the last line of defense if everything goes down the drain. I mean, having the soon-to-be biggest Islamic nation, the only nuclearized Muslim state and a potential economic giant as your extended family is quite a stress relieving thought.:kiss3:

That's the beauty of Pakistan from a Turkish perspective; we cannot lose.

On topic:
You never know what's going to happen. Just a small domestic crisis could lead to major set back in the defense industry. I'm ready for chest thumping in 20 years, once we hopefully caught up with France or the UK. Until then, I prefer to stay quiet. That's my personal lesson from history.
