Featured US blocks delivery of Turkish gunships to Pakistan

It is well known Z10 did very poorly during Pakistan’s high altitude and high temperature testing, even pilots said handling was terrible and they were returned to China and T129 was selected

T129 was better than the new AH-1s

However some can keep dreaming of comparing Z10 to a modern state of the art T129

Even if T129 performed better it was because of American engine which America blocked. Whether it can perform better with a Turkish engine remains to be seen.

TUSAS Engine Industries (TEI) is an incorporated company established in 1985 as a joint venture of Turkish Aerospace Industries and American General Electric (GE)
is it making an engine for atak t129?
something is not quite right here
fake Chinese Fanboys
what is a fake Chinese Fanboy? can you ever get anything right? one has to be real not fake Chinese fanboy in order to back them instead of the trojan horse that is Turkey.

FYI new Turkish engine - if it ever comes into being - won't be allowed to be exported to Pakistan either

No, it isn't, and the Z-10 didn't do poorly in Pakistan or anywhere else.

Link to where the pilots said this.

We'll keep "dreaming" while you keep flying T129s. Oh, wait...

T129 engine sanction is part of Cobra embargo. Last 10 year Pakistan only able to upgrade the F16 , nothing major procurement

Lets hope our economy improves in the next 10 years and then put all these
F 16's in the museums and put a sticker on these planes and write "never again".
Hopefully Azm project bears fruit and then we never look back on these black mailable, sanctionable and with strings machines again. Regardless these machines have served PAF purpose nicely so far and hopefully by the time these planes retire PAF will be in much better shape and on the road to self sufficiency.

They assemble but cannot make engine without US parts.

stop trolling and lying

TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine designed , developed and produced by Turkey and Turkish Engineers and no any American parts on TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine

Turkey ( TEI ) has developed 4 different Engines in the last 7 years for Turkish Military projects

-- TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine for T-625 multi-role Helicopter and T-629 Attack Helicopter
-- PD-170 Turboprob Engine for ANKA-S and AKSUNGUR UCAVs
-- PG-50 Engine for KARGI anti-radiation Drone
-- TJ-300 turbojet Engine for MRASHM Cruise Missile

Turkish TEI is one of 6 engine manufacters in the world with high technology turbine blades manufactoring and blisk-spool technologies

something is not quite right here

Turkey has developed TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine for T-625 multi-role Helicopter and T-629 Attack Helicopter

TEI delivered TS-1400 Engines to Turkish Aerospace Industries for intergetion of TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine into the T-625 multi-role Helicopter

mass production of indigenous Turboshaft Engine will start in 2024

your wishful thinking

Maybe. Maybe not. 2024 is a very ambitious target. I think 2030 is more likely.

says a Chinese TROLL who knows nothing about Engines , TEI and TS-1400 Turboshat Engine project

It doesn't matter if it's in 2024 or 2030, Pakistan signed a contract with Turkey to deliver those helicopters now. Why is Turkey not fulfilling its obligations?

We dont care about İranian and Chinese Guys like you

problem is between Turkey and Pakistan ...
and a few days ago , Pakistan has agreed to, yet again, extend a deal with Turkey for T129 Atak Helicopters

We have obtained a six-month extension from Pakistan

. . .
What are the dimensions/weight of Z-10's engines?

IIRC they have somewhat similar output but don't remember dimensions/weight.

Let's slap them up in T-129 and call it a day Al-khalid style.
