Syrian forces fire at 2nd Turkish plane - Turkey

^

The regime change shouldn't come from foreign intervention nor arming the rebels , but by Syrians themselves !

Assad should step down , it is about time ...

Plane shot down 1 km out of Syrian airspace , its crashed 1 km in , 1 km is just few seconds you know...

WHF

O shut up , airspace violations always happens , that plane violated their airspace for shortly and left , it was left the Syrian airspace 11 minutes ago when its shot down.

ok if it left syrian airspace and was in turksh airspace and the plane was coming back then they it was fallen into syrian airspace cz as u said it was in ur airspace and was going in the opst direction isnt that little odd

.
Yes , The Syrians clearly overreacted ... The F-4 should have been contacted over radio and asked to leave the airspace ...
However given the situation they are in , such things aren't surprising ... The low level commander operating the AA/SAM could by no way know the intentions of the intruder ... Whether it was a mistake or a deliberate intrusion to test air defenses or spy upon ...

How many times we must repeat ourself in order to make you comprehend that the plane was in international airspace and its intention has nothing to do with Syria and there wasn't any hostile moves.

You're agreeing on Assad has no legitimacy and must go, but you're believing his claims over Republic of Turkey's? WTF is this sh*t?

Judging by your previous posts, you're not a bright one but i think we might create a spark in that brain of yours. Hopefuly...

Secur,

This is what me and you as Pakistanis, as neutral observers can see and have to say. The Turkish view is what needs to be understood as well. I would not be surprised if Turkey does indeed have legitimate national interests and concerns in favor of Assad's immediate removal (One must understand that pan-Islamism is more of a myth than reality now. A myth only Pakistanis still believe in and wish for). Remember we also have national interests concerning our neighborhood. I for one am willing to bend the ethics and morals to what ever end to have those interests met. This is the case with every country out there. Morals and ethics have no place in international politics except for the use in propaganda, this is how it is and this is how we must take it. No one can claim a halo on their heads and striving for it would be naive. The only people in it for the Syrians are the Syrians themselves.

ps: There could have been a hundred reasons why the jet ended up in Syrian territory. The evasion maneuvers for one could have easily had the aircraft end up in Syrian airspace.

until the past decade, baathist regime was housing Kurdish seperatists....so there is some bad blood. Only recently did ties with Syria improve (relaxed visa regulations, increased trade, etc.)

seems however that after all these Arab revolutions, Turkiye did some mathematics and determined (using their own framework and calculations) that it didnt make sense to continue to support an increasingly isolated regime

i do suggest -- as i said earlier -- that there be some restraint on both sides. It's not in either country's interest to opt for war. Syria is already at war with itself; 50% are pro Assad the other 50 are anti.

in Egypt, no military campaign was required.......nor in Tunisia. It was a natural process (of course with heavy price paid)

No you should , but take permission first !

Syria isn't some banana republic to be intruded at will ... What is so hard to understand about that ? :azn:

Riddle me this anyone , the F-4 was shot in International Waters according to Turkish Govt ... But yet the wreckage is being found inside Syrian airspace ... How come ? :azn:

Jets move at fast speeds and when they are flying close to the border and depending on the direction they are flying in, it is quite possible to end up in the enemy territory.

why did you post this?
were you made to make the above post under duress?
do you know this is not stupid and funny section?

your post is so stupid that it has made us all feel stupid as well.

No, seriously.... are you having family issues? why do you find this conflict funny?

may the God have mercy on you because we have lost hope

that is right

normally the intruder is warned over the radio or escorted out
only a hostile one is shot down and thats in extreme cases of heightened tensions among the 2 countries.

sorry for the loss.. only the enemies of Turkey and Syria will be having fun and wishing an open conflict.
I wish the leadership in both countries actually defuses the situation.

but there is a question, "why would British put their aircraft in Turkey and attack on Syria and this way Syria will have to first shoot down that aircraft and attack on that air base from where that aircraft took off also? and here the case is, British just want to put their aircrafts in Turkey and then they want the Turkish aircrafts to go into air space of Syria and then that certain aircraft will be first shot down and then Syria will attack on that air base of Turkey. and at the same time, British aircrafts will have flown out from Turkey?"

Britain feed their people by borrowing debt, its obvious that they can't fight or fund any open war :disagree:. in case of funding any open war, already heavily indebted British economy will come under so much stress that they may not be able to provide pension/welfare to their under high school passed labor citizens who may then make an anarchy on the streets on London.............

I mean, if Britain is a true friend of Turkey then they would put their aircrafts on the airbase of Israel and attack on Syria and in this case, it will be the Britain who will lose its aircrafts while violating Syrian air space and it will be Israel who will come on attack who will provide airbase to those British aircrafts. Turkey is on the 3 side attacks from Syrian, Iran, Russia who also have full support from their other allies like India, China, Kazakhstan etc also. then here, why Britain wants to risk Independence of Turkey by just putting their aircrafts in Turkey and encouraging Turkey to attack on Syria? and then those British aircrafts will have run to Britain? :undecided:

cant speak for all nations, but Pakistan supports 100% T.C. stance on Cyprus; Pakistani activists and a prominent journalist were aboard the Mavi Marmara which was unjustly attacked in int'l waters

it's no lie - the whole "Muslim unity" thing has not really been existent since late 1970s -- which even then at times it was questionable.

one would hope this changes -- for the better.

Sovereignity --- is non-negotiable.

Well done Syria.

i wonder if you'd be saying the same when PAF was about to shoot down your intruding aircraft back in 2008 -- which we can confirm DID enter our airspace before being chased out by our interceptors

I agree , things are never that simple in International arena ... US-Afghan war is something we aren't proud of !

Relations have deteriorated between Turkey and Syria since the crackdown on protestants by Assad regime ... I wish ill for neither countries ... Ankara is our friend and long term strategic partner , Syria isn't close but being a Muslim country , we care about it too ! Do we want another Muslim country to go down the drain , descend into anarchy , instability and civil war just like Libya ? ... I , for good reason do not believe anything which the western media tells me ... Just look at the news coming out of Libya before the foreign intervention ! The same dictatorship , democracy , freedom and people being massacred bull **** ... The end result ? Libya is worse than ever before ... You will get a good idea of propaganda machine used by West to justify wars ... Assad isn't a popular ruler but still more than 50% of Syrians support it as shown in polls ... What right does someone have to initiate regime change by arming rebels and flaring tensions ? ... US and NATO want to intervene again in Syria and later Iran , the same excuse is being used again , you see ... But wont it be good , if some Muslim country can finish their dirty work ? :azn: Sad to see , that Turkey and GCC puppets are playing directly into the hands of Americans trying to provoke wars with Muslim countries ... One good reason , why I am not supporting Turkey in this particular matter ... Why this sudden selective empathy for Syrians ? :azn: Whilst Palestinians are being killed daily and Turks do not raise any voice ! The same goes for people in Bahrain ...

Yes , The Syrians clearly overreacted ... The F-4 should have been contacted over radio and asked to leave the airspace ...

Sir, Mr Putin has already said in his recent meeting in G20 that we all are ready to support any type of democratization of Syria but the things can't happen suddenly, at least not till the violence in continued which is funded by US+Turkey+SA+Qatar, to date. we won't let our allies to surrender to those who may create so much violence in our friend states until that state finally surrender to these criminals of human being who have organized this much violence in Syria by arming terrorists who have caused life of over 1000s civilians till now. :disagree:

we find whether its US who have these terrorists in their pocket or the Arab nations who want to fund this type of violence, they all are same and we dont care about these shiits either. if we will be attacked, we will have fcuked the attackers and if not, we dont care how these NATO allies themselves keep fcuking each other.......

first these Gulf nations want us to support them against Israel/US and at the same time they are found in bed with them. first Arabs want to fight for Islam and claim that US/UK/Israel etc have done wrong with muslims of the world, and sometimes we find Saudi Rulers have been even bribed with over one billion pounds by US for their help against Iran, i read somewhere on pdf itself. but in fact, we dont give a shiits to the mess of these NATO members, how they bribe each others or share their women among them also. but if our allies will be attacked, we are responsible to defend ourselves and if not, bb . we dont care of shiits of NATO, whether its US who use these terrorist against its opponents or its their Turkey type allies whose government officers train and send terrorists to other countries, like in Syria right now

Unfortunately These people feel Great threatening an Islamic Country but the same people turns out pussycat when it comes to israel with zipped up mouths. Pray tell me people who will solve Palestinian issue which is pending 42+ Years; These idiots seriously want another invader sitting in Syria doing the same Job the people which has been done to Palestinians by isrealis and then you have a complete destabilized region.

You did chase out using interceptors...right ?

You acted against intruding aircrafts in your way and Syrians did it in their way. In the end, sovereignity was non-negotiable.
