You guys may think it is 'just one plane", but the way I see it is that we "potentially" lost 2 of our soldiers. If we don't respond, then shame on us!!!

Really i smell something else. Man first of all the plane must be shooted down with a anti aircraft missile right? If its so, how the pilots have survived the explosion. Or if the jet warned for a incoming missile, why they didnt shoot some flairs to avoid it? Is it so easy to take down a jet? Bullcrap like always.

^ No one knows whether the pilots survived or not, so don't jump to conclusions just yet. Here's the official statement.

Basically saying that the search and rescue is currently underway with Syria's co-operation (must be feeling the heat) and it was concluded that the plane was shot down by the Syrian Forces. When the details come to surface, we will react accordingly.

it is officially confirmed that Syria shot down the Turkish warplane. Turkiye will decide how she will respond this incident after clarification.

It is up to the details. We do not know if it was flying over Syrian airspace or not, if so, we do not know whether Syria warned it or not. We don't even know what happenned to the pilots.

In my opinion, regardless how it happenned, this incident might be use as an excuse for military intervention. We'll see...
