Syria war: Germany suspends upgrade to Turkey tanks

Just upgrade them yourself to L2NG. It would be alone worth it for the triggered german media politicans.
We already have on in our inventory just bring it out so the german media can loose its shit and write shit like "Can the turks upgrade their tanks without our permission?!?!!?"

It has everything you need: Fire control system, ERA/New armor, ASELSAN Stabilized Gun Platform 12.6mm, situational awareness through 360° cameras and we can tweak Zalson for it. Done. No german interference no crying in front of cameras for votes, just a triggered german media and lefties "politicans".

Also it looks much better than the L2A6.

I don't think this is an option, otherwise you wouldn't ask Germany in the first place.

No one asked, there was going to be a meeting about FUTURE Leopard upgrades but that is canceled now. There is no active program with Germany about the Leopard tanks.

. . . .
They dont, the thing is Turkey recently became the punching bag of European politicians, you need votes? Just punch Turkey and see the votes rising.

Of the "Turks" living in Germany how many are kurds?

This might have to do with votes from those kurds.

Don't call me a fool neanderthal, I was the one asking a question in the first place, how can I answer a question if it is based on false information? If those tanks are good why do they need an upgrade in the first place?

I agree you act like a fool.

Why do you beg USA for money and cry about WW2 day and night like a little girl?

. . .
Dont know but a lot, its not about Kurdish votes but the general anti Turkish view in Europe.

Its all about lobbies
I don't believe that EU is happy with those mountain monkeys.

Just like your autistic friend, you base your questions on false information, and then cry that I don't answer them.

There is more than 4 million Turks living in Germany. I think that if they each sent 100 Euros to their relatives living in Turkey, Germany would seriously back down. If Erdoğan was to announce such a thing, I'm sure that at least 1 million would comply. And it is not like they would be losing the money, it would just be transferred to Turkey. Germans can't stop that anyway. 100 million euros just being transferred to Turkish banks, by hand or by wire, would probably change their minds. And I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be limited to 100 Million. If it was a large scale campaign, they could bring over a billion Euros. It wouldn't have a crazy impact on the German economy, I know that. But they would at least take a step back.

Not likely, also the turks living in Germany wouldn't do anything for RTE. Just like the turks living in Denmark wouldn't do anything either. We got our own problems, and RTE acting like a Sultan in Turkey, just makes it that much harder for "gurbetci" turk.

What we want to see is proof, and that's delivering MBT Altay, seeing Altay on the frontlines. Atak129, Mass production of JDAMS, and other munition for our weapons/vehicles. Empty words and mock-ups won't fill my stomach.

If those questions are irrelevant why did you claim you have answered them extensively? (And you didn't)

First of all, the question in the first place was "Why does Turkey need GERMANY to upgrade their tanks if they want self sufficiency", so you completely ignored "Germany" and "self sufficiency" in my question.

Second of all, "Turkey seeks the upgrade because these are good tanks" isn't an answer, even to the question that wasn't asked in the first place, that you invented. A possible answer to "Why does Turkey seek an upgrade for the Leopard 2A4?" would be "It has a weakness we are trying to eliminate" or something like that.

Look, you jew. Turkey can not just upgrade a purchased military vehicle because of certain contract conditions. You can already see that Germany is turned upside down because Turkey uses these vehicles against terrorists. The way Germany deals with Turkey is to their disadvantage. The idiotic regulations will also deter other buyers from that region. These politically based wrongful decisions from the West only ensure that Turkey enlarges its own military industry. It creates a counterproductive effect. This is only better for Turkey. Altay is besides the engine, almost finished. During the search for an alternative engine, we look to our own possibilites. The knowledge is there but not the experience (in tank engines). That is why we are also looking for alternative partners who have experience in this and can help us out.

So in short, you can not rely on Western allies. Their double standards have sparked something and that is what you are concerned about with your little Israel ;)

If you go for weaker engines from Ukraine (diesel, 1200 HP) instead, you would still have a good tank. Just won't be very fast, which is only needed for blitzkreig style war, not the slow paced conventional / COIN type operations taking place.

I think Turkey should seriously consider Ukranian engines for the Altay as a stop gap measure and build simple, diesel engines in Turkey in the medium to long term.

Your talking about blackmailing a country. What you suggest would have the opposite effect. The Germans would just get angry and face a slight setback in their economy, and we still wouldn’t have tanks.
