The bloody blogs making news now and than.....
Pathetic.
Jf-17 is a joke from the engineers who claim this to be Pakistan, its an insult to Pakistan by claiming something chinese/russian as pakistani.
Just scrape the Tejas and start fresh with a joint venture.India should stick with Tejas. But it is good idea to get SAAB involved in Tejas project. A joint venture company between SAAB and HAL for producing Tejas will be great for India's efforts to produce best fighter jets locally.

Not needed. Tejas is not that bad and it is not what is projected here on PDF. It is a good plane, but not up to the mark of what IAF expects from a fighter jet and what it flies. What is needed is improving the Tejas. As they say Rome is not build in one day.
Problem with IAF is that they are always fond of imported stuff, when ever final clearance for tejas is near they put up some more demands to be incorporated into it. tejas is a new aircraft and first 40 can be inducted immediately with additional changes. IAF will not test till it forces govt to adjust them for 90 odd planes before tjas gets final approval for induction
Bhai sari dunya ko inole kr lo....aik to pta ni indian ku itne obssessed he....hr dusri company ka name sun k...use involve krne lgte...!!!Jitne marzi JVs kr lo...Tejas remains the Shit aircraft!!! You can't change a fact!!!India should stick with Tejas. But it is good idea to get SAAB involved in Tejas project. Bhai Sahab, look at it from another angle. If you induct anything local, will there be bigger kickbacks, OR when you induct foreign made items?
So what happens to the LCA in this case?

Defense ministry babu and officers are there for supporting IAF to make some quick bucks, but IAF is generally fond of imported stuff
