Damn....But they were threatening to shift their plants outside Pakistan...:laughcry:

. .
At least it seems better than those mehran junks.

That car was ripping pakistanis for 30 years with same junkyard shape, I wonder how they succeed in doing that for so long?

. .
The whole shifting their plants was an idiotic and obvious bluff by Suzuki. No other country in the world will allow the crap they had managed to pull in Pakistan (and might continue to do so).

Nahiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii plz hampe ye zulam mat karo plz don't take away Mehran :cray::cray::cray:

GTFO of Pakistan suzuki

Is it better than the model it replaces? Seems like a smart car.....so why people are not excited?

that really isnt a "modern" car even for south Asian standards. but certainly a step in the right direction. What exactly is stopping Pakistan from opening its Auto market to other players?

What exactly is stopping Pakistan from opening its Auto market to other players?

According to this article, many auto manufacturing companies have shown interest in manufacturing cars in Pakistan, but everything gets delayed due to bureaucracy. Moreover, the existing car manufacturers operates like a cartel...the imported cars have high tariff charges which allows the local manufacturers to continue manufacturing crap year over year.

does the average Pakistani know that they are being taken for a ride? (pun not intended). and not in a good car

that car would have been a 1990's compact car in US. I guess maybe a 2000's car in China or India.

How much does it cost on road? (in $'s please)

and 660 cc - i cant even imagine. is that enough horse power for the roads you guys have?
Seeing the pictures of Islamabad's roads and Pakistan's motorways seem pretty good roads. whats the speed limit there? do these cars even reach those speeds?
