Support from other nations to Erdogan

.
I suggest the protestors make a point in election , not by harming Turkey

The protestors are peaceful. You dont understand that. The media is censored how will the people make up their mind if no one is reporting on it? How will the elections be fair without free media?

Just because Erdogan is Muslim you trust him blindfolded. What a foolish thing to do.

. . . . . .
I know there are no trees in kuwaits. So you dont know how important they are. :P

yes there are less of it but i won't say none at all. But my homeland Bangladesh is filled with trees everywhere :D but seriously, this protest has to be something more than the trees. what is it all about?

Ok lets be serious, its really not only about trees.
First there was peacefull activists in park to save trees but police attacked them with pepper spray, then things turn violent.
Our PM said he would built that mall in this park no matter what so people got angry and protested against goverment and its more and more autocratic ruling during last years.
Then some small anarchists and terrorist groups also joined the protests and PM said all protestors are marginal and terrorists.
At friday after two weeks of protest goverment accepted a delegation from protestors for dialogue but it was not really successfully so the protests still going on.

so the point of the protest was hijacked and now anti-govt stuffs are going on? are the protestors hurting the economy in any way? ie: blockade of roads and riots?

The aggression is coming from the police. The park itself was described as the Turkish Woodstock by The Guardian, with Yoga, Prayers, Libraries, live Music, kids. It was peaceful. In fact there were no incididents but in those days that the police attacked.

Less sexual harrassments then usually because a certain kind of people stayed at home.

1. Yes it turned to a anti-government rally fairly quick.
2. Around 100 million dollar public property damage.
3. Yes many blockades many riots.

And now you're probably thinking everyone in Turkey is against the government, just like some media sources put it dôwn?

Here's a meeting he did yesterday in sincan/ankara

Nice to see both the faces of the current situation. Firstly, the violence has to stop. Tree hugging is an excuse for all these. Next, the protesters should wait for fair election to topple the govt if that is what they wish. Looking at the ruling party's popularity, it does not look the everyone is against the building of mall on that land. Anyway, if the tree huggers[sorry if that sounds offensive but that is how it looks to me] are so desperate to get an open park why don't they donate say 5% of their money in a trust and then with that money open a private park in private land rather than this? sounds more sensible
