Nice video, thanks. Russia has been producing some really beautiful airplanes lately, but I still am not that enthused about visibility and ergonomics. They've definitely improved over jets like the MiG-21, but to me it looks like the pilot is still sitting deeply in the cockpit; the canopy rails are close to his shoulder, and it looks like he has a face full of instrument panel, rather than sky. Compare this frame grab with a picture of a pilot in an F-15. Note how in the Eagle, the pilot sits higher, and the canopy rail is below his armpit. This helps visual search and visual maneuvering...

The SU-30 has somewhat poor rear visibility, but still very good in the front and sides. The SU-35, and SU-27 have exellent all around visibility, not to mention the pilot sits up high.
