BRV is a 7 seater with a 1.5 litre engine from Honda. Price in Pakistan is between 23-25 lac depending on options. It has got very good ground clearance as well as folding seats so a good long distance car.
Even though it has got Honda's latest Earth Dreams engine it is not going to be a very powerful car since the engine is small compared to the size of the vehicle.
The general go to car in Pakistan is the Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3 variant, similar to lower price range as BRV. Corolla in Pakistan can go most places as well because Pakistani local cars have better ground clearance than their international versions.
If you have a lower budget 1.3 Suzuki Swift is good. Even lower than Suzuki Cultus, lower than that is the Suzuki Wagon R but its only available in manual.
I own a 660 japanese import as a second car and will not recommend any car with 660cc if planning to keep it long. The 660 engines are DOHC and work on higher revs which is why they don't have the same life as local car engines. No matter how much care you give the car these 660s don't last as much. Luckily if you own one or still want one used 660cc replacement engines in Pakistan are really cheap even if it dies out.
