متحدہ قومی موومنٹ کی رابطہ کمیٹی کے ارکان عبدالحسیب اور میاں عتیق نے سینٹرل ایگزیکٹو کونسل کے رکن غازی صلاح الدین اور ایم کیو ایم اپر پنجاب کے صدر عتیق عباسی کے ہمراہ بری امام سرکا ر کے گدی نشین راجا سرفراز کے نمائندے اکمال ، گولڑہ شریف کے پیر حسام الدین گیلانی ، ان کے صاحبزادے معین الحق گیلانی ، سہون شریف کے گدی نشین سید مہدی شاہ اور تنظیم الخوان کے سربراہا امیر اکرم ایوان سے علیحدہ علیحد ہ ملاقاتیں کی اور ایم کیو ایم کے زیر اہتمام 9مارچ کو لاہور میں منعقد ہونے والی’’صوفیاء کرامؒ کانفرنس ‘‘میں شرکت کی دعوت دی اور کہا کہ آج پاکستان جن حالات سے گزر رہا ہے ایسے حالات میں تمام مکاتبِ فکر سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد کو اپنی تمام رنجشیں بھلا کر متحد ہونا پڑے گا اور صوفیاء کرامؒ کی تعلیمات کے مطابق امن و آشتی کے پیغام کو ملک کے کونے کونے میں پھیلانے کیلئے عملی جدوجہد کرنی ہوگی اور یہی ایک واحد راستہ ہے جس پر عمل پیرا ہو کر ہم پاکستان اور پاکستان کی عوام کو اس دہشت اور خوف کے عالم سے نکال سکتے ہیں۔ اراکین نے رابطہ کمیٹی نے کہا کہ 9مارچ کو لاہور میں منعقد ہونے والی ’’صوفیاء کرامؒ کانفرنس ‘‘ یہ ثابت کردیگی کہ ایم کیو ایم ملک کی واحد جماعت ہے جو اولیاء و صوفیاء کرامؒ کے پیغام کو ملک کے کونے کونے میں پھیلارہی ہے جس سے عوام الناس میں محبت و امن کے جذبے کوفروغ ملے گا ۔اس موقع پر ان تمام حضرات نے ایم کیو ایم کی جانب سے ملک میں قیام امن کے کاوشوں کو سراہا اور اپنے بھرپور تعاون کی یقین دہانی کرائی ۔

متحدہ قومی موومنٹ زیرا ہتمام 9مارچ کو لاہور کی وحدت کالونی کے ڈونگی گراؤنڈ میں ہونے والی عظیم الشان ’’صوفیانہ کانفرنس ‘‘ میں شرکت کیلئے پنجاب کے مختلف شہروں کی دینی ، مذہبی شخصیات ، بزرگان دین کی درگاہوں کے سجادہ نشین اور میلا د کمیٹی کے عہدیدارن سے ملاقاتوں کا سلسلہ جاری ہے ۔ اس سلسلے میں ایم کیوایم کی رابطہ کمیٹی کے رکن عبدا لحسیب نے پاکپتن میں درگاہ عالیہ بابا فرید گنج شکر ؒ کے سجادہ نشین دیوان احمد مسعود مودود ، درگاہ پانی پت شریف کے سجادہ نشین مہر حفاظ غلام قطب الدین چشتی ،درگاہ خواجہ علی اکبر چشتی ؒ کے سجادہ نشین صاحبزادہ علامہ ریاض احمد اور انجمن میلاد کمیٹی پاکپتن کے صدر راؤ عظمت اللہ جبکہ لاہورمیں قدیم پول ٹیکنیک انسٹی ٹیوٹ احمد حسن کے مالک احمد حسن نقوی ، ادارے کے پرنسپل ، اساتذہ اور جوہر ٹاؤن لاہور میں معروف دینی درسگاہ ادارہ منہاج القرآن کے علامہ محمد اکبر حسین مستجہدسے ملاقاتیں کیں اور انہیں 9مارچ کو لاہور میں ہونیوالی صوفیانہ کانفرنس میں شرکت کی دعوت دی ۔ اس موقع پر ایم کیوایم سینٹرل ایگزیکٹو کونسل کے رکن غازی صلاح الدین ، متحدہ بین المسلمین فورم پاکستان کے اراکین علامہ علی کرار نقوی ، آغا سید اطہر حسین جعفری اور ایم کیوایم پنجاب کے رابطہ سیکریٹری عمر آغا بھی موجود تھے ۔ ملاقاتوں میں درگاہوں کے سجادہ نشین اور علمائے کرام سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے رابطہ کمیٹی کے رکن عبد الحسیب نے کہاکہ ایم کیوایم صوفیا اکرام کی تعلیمات اور پیغام کو عام کرنے کے مشن پر نکلی ہے اور انشاء اللہ 9مارچ کو ڈونگی گراؤنڈ میں ہونیوالی صوفیانہ کانفرنس ملک میں دہشت گردی اور انتہاء پسندی کے خلاف رائے عامہ کو ہموار کرے گی اور دہشت گردی کے خلاف اہم ثابت ہوگی ۔ درگاہوں کے سجادہ نشین اور علمائے کرام نے ایم کیوایم کے وفد کی آمد کا خیر مقدم کیا اور صوفیا اکرام کی شان میں کانفرنس کے انعقاد کو زبردست انداز میں سراہتے ہوئے اس میں اپنی شرکت کی یقین دہانی کرائی ۔
دریں اثناء رابطہ کمیٹی کے رکن عبد الحسیب نے پاکپتن میں واقع حضرت خواجہ عبد العزیز مکی ؒ اور حضرت خواجہ علاؤ الدین موج دریا ؒ کی درگاہوں پر حاضری دی اور قائد تحریک جناب الطاف حسین کی جانب سے چادر چڑھائی ۔ اس موقع پر انہوں نے 9مارچ کو ڈونگی گراؤنڈ لاہور میں ہونے والے صوفیانہ کنونشن کی کامیابی کیلئے دعا بھی کی ۔

They are criminals. So no, they dont wage war on the state.. they break the law. Certain gangs were even pro-state when they stood up against a corrupt society. A Gang DOES NOT make the state its enemy. It does not say that we wish to destroy Pakistan or capture it.

Where do you place the taliban? are they enemy or not? Are they to be given leverage after their acts of butchery?
Is that your honest opinion of them?

I guess I made wrong choice of word in that case. TTP and MQM both are not gangs, both are enemy of the state, want to break the country, destroy national assets and kill innocent citizens. The only difference is, TTP doesn't recognize our constitution and are clear in waging war against Pakistan, while MQM participate in elections, sits in parliament and still waging war against Pakistan since past two decades.

No one who's killing innocent Pakistanis should be spared, whether its TTP, MQM, BLA, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah-e-Sahaba or Any XYZ...

By the way, you haven't answered my question yet again? How many such spiritual gatherings MQM has organized in Sindh so far, especially in Karachi and Hyderabad? I just want to increase my general knowledge..

Politics. MQM kills innocent Pakistani's and that's a punishable crime, no matter how many good things they do they are still criminals. TTP is whole different thing, they are not a political party, they are rag tag terrorists, all out to kill and capture. They don't have to play good because in the end, they won't go to public for votes..

It is that very mentality that lost us East Pakistan... iron fists cost us half the country. Addressing grievances would have saved us an eastern wing and avoided an insurgency in Balochistan. In either case, we have derailed Darkinsky's thread enough. The question was of MQM's intention in this matter.. and whether they have done it otherwise or it is just a ploy for Punjab. I have addressed the latter question.

A distinction must be made as to what "Sufiyana" is? The Junoon band has very little "Sufiyana" element in it other than adapting a fashion style from paintings of Maulana Rumi. Nor does their recitation of Iqbal make them any representation of Sufism. A lot of pointless acts that may be interpreted as Biddat is done in the guise of Sufism and Tareeqat. Hence, it should be cleared up by MQM as to the nature of the Sufism conference .. whether it is truly looking to inspire the Spiritual guidance of the Tareeqa's and Silsilas.. or is it just highlight cultural elements that have nothing to do with spirituality as such but reflect the influence of Sufism(or rather the amalgamation of Sufi teachings and local culture of the subcontinent).

Abida Parveen, Amjad Sabri..Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan may have recited Sufiana Kalam..but none of it has any spiritual effect or standing and as such works only as powerful musical pieces(although I can only qualify the last as matching that description).

Sure , there is no particular guideline....people find spirituality in love songs.. however, there are set mannerism and respect that define Tasawwuf and Tareeqat.. which is what true sufism is. After all, one car read the Quran without Wuzu and after scratching ones bum.. and feel close to god..and I refer to the above not with your spirituality but in regards to what this conference intends to portray or achieve.
