Starbucks is coming to Pakistan! Guess which city?

Hi, sorry for off topic post, but I was wondering what are those ranks some members have? Are they IRL ranks of some kind of rewards for being members for long enough or donations or such?

Post count my friend.

Puke or gross. Point is Starbucks makes a butt tea:angry:. And I'm not a coffee person:(.

That's why I only drink the best damn breakfast food around:chilli:!

I'll have to find the halal version. :p:

Gurh wali chaye? You mean with "Shakkar" (brown sugar)?

That one I have tried, but never the "Gurh wali". And believe me you, I have lived a very hard core Pind wali life for few years.

Hak Hawww..... Shakar aur hoti hai..crystalline form ..Gurh hard hota hai and more tasty..
I was born in a Pind.. Raised In a Pind..Studied In a Pind... I'm a pure damn paindu :D

HaaN G, I know what Gurh is, have eaten it a lot.

But never tea with Gurh.

Ok, neksht tayme... are you inviting us for a cuppa? :azn:

It just so happens that Pakistan is in fact one of the places I plan on visiting on my trip to Asia in the not-too-distant future. I have no doubt that I will enjoy my time there.

I hope you will go to Gilgit side its very beautiful if you love Nature , Lakes ,Mountains and Snow :)

Coffee is popular in the West because it is cheap to get....plus you add in other factors like time management and the weather !

In Pakistan it has the same price hence out of range for most Pakistanis as a daily intake unlike chai.

Starbucks has become known for its “secret menu” of drinks created by customers and baristas (the people who make the coffee) that are quasi-officially available.

This has happened because the chain allows people to mix and match its ingredients in any manner they want. That means that a customer can order a caramel macchiato with raspberry sauce or a black tea lemonade with whipped cream.

Those are, of course, absurd examples that would not gain traction due to the incompatibility of the drink ingredients, but some consumer- or barista-created beverages have caught on.

And now it is coming to Pakistan!

According to sources, Karachi and Islamabad will get the first outlets. And you will be allowed to brew your own coffee.

So with the #chaiwala trending on Twitter and elsewhere out of our reach, maybe it is time to turn to Starbucks to drown our woes.
Starbucks sucks! I'm kind of a coffee snob. Sorry!

It's extremely extremely pricey too.

I love starbucks coffee. Go there almost daily and run out fast, too many fruitcakes inside.

For some odd reason I could never develop my taste for Coffee, I tried Starbucks, costa and even home made. I personally like to drink Tea (Milk), especially Kashmiri Tea during winters. :coffee:

Sir, the local franchise owners are your fellow Pakistinians just like their customers, are they not? :D

Nothing wrong with that. Starbucks is aspirational brand for millions who enter middle class every year in India. I am geussing it is the same in Pakistan.
