The most promising part of this project is the new national turboshaft engine which will be more powerful than TEI-TS-1400(1630shp max) engines developed for T-625 and Atak-I helicopters. Same powerful engine and transmission will power up the Atak-II 8/10t class attack helicopters as well.

Yep I also wonder new design bro. Ismail Demir said that Atak-II program will be introduced to public in a short time. We will see the final shape of her with a pleasure on our face. Engineering of such a complicated and sophisticated 8/10t attack helicopter is not that easy If you develop almost all static and dynamic components with relaying on national infrastructure. All those are industrial revolution program for Turkish industry which is going to make Turkiye a very strong country in industrial, political and economical aspects so we should be careful for sabotages, economical provocation and sneaky politic maneouvrings...

Indigenous 20mm gatling cannon under development. Qualification of national cannon will begin 24 months after deal took effect.

First phase, 4 prototype of total 34 gatling type national 20mm cannon will be produced.

Atak Phase-II helicopter (T-129) -Phase1 is in delivery. Phase-II will have following advantages;

• Enhanced Payload
• Some design changes on fuselage
• Heavier Weapon and EW carriage capacity
• First delivery: Mid 2019

Not: Atak-II(8/10t) and Atak Phase-II are not same helicopters.
