I have yet to experience incredible high-end Indian quality. Maybe German consumers are too poor to buy Indian high-end products, that's the only logical explanation why our department stores don't stock Indian products at all. We have to content oursevels with low quality Chinese products.

Funny how quick the Indians jump on "Chinese quality" bashing again, never mind that Indian equipment is so substandard so bad that they themselves need Chinese generators.

On a different note, Sri Lankan operators do need better training. Many are new on the job and managing a 300 mega watt plant requires extensive training on procedure, maintenance, etc.

Yeah, I'm scared of Indian quality too. Here in the states they are selling Peerless speakers (a good Danish firm) for $5 that are Made in India, but I really don't want to risk that $5 on Indian goods.

It is not intentional. Chinese equipment breaks down often. Our Pakistani friends know from the experience with Chinese locomotives on Pakistani railways.

At first I came to this forum (unregistered) to get some information about military stuffs and after a while and reading the many comments of Indian forumers I decided to become a member of this forum, because the baloney many Indian forumers spew was just hard to digest for anyone who advocates truth.

I have no problems if someone is patriotic and brags a little bit about his/her countries accomplishents, I do that as well. But to laugh at someone who is in so many aspects superior to you just bewilders me.

But then again, I'm not surprised at all why India lags behind China on so many accounts. Just spend a few days reading the cockalorum of the many Indians explains a lot.
