This is fantastic. SLAF appraising BAF ground combateers of their experience against the Tigers would be of immense value. Just after the Tiger's war had ended, SL had invited a military team from BD to brief them on the war. BD and SL have very close relations.

I can understand some BDs miss us a lot, but so much of love & affection is not good either....it turns into obsession. 2. There is no Hindu India...India is not based on religion. And our problem is with the illegal immigrants and terrorists crossing over from any side of our borders...can't help it if most of them happen to be Muslims. And there is no paranoia with Pakistan & China, there were real wars, and there are regular conflicts on the borders. But I don't know of any military strike by India against BD, neither I see any planning or preparation.....and so I wonder.

@MohitV Welcome to BD section of PDF Initially I also had the similar strange feeling, but later some of my countrymen advised me not to bother too much and just enjoy the posts...I would advise you the same. Just to bring you up to the speed, here are certain "facts!!" you NEED TO KNOW to continue ahead in BD section. Please don't try to argue or reason with them about the validity of the facts, that will be a futile exercise . Here it is:

1. India & Indians are dreaming about "Akhand Bharat" and planning for the same, i.e. occupy Bangladesh & Pakistan. At least, India certainly wants to invade Bangladesh.
2. BD is a de facto "29th province" of India, India controls everything in BD, even the election results.
3. Awami League is controlled by India, BNP is India-slayer, but may not remain so once India "allow" them to come to power.
4. Our RAW chief's promotion depends upon RAW's performance in BD. RAW is most active in BD, and it seems 90% all RAW resources are engaged in BD. We are constantly doing conspiracies against BD.
5. WATER...major issue! All the rivers that flowing from India to BD are BD's river containing BD's water, and we are stealing it. BDs don't have any problem if China does the same.
6. India does anti-BD propaganda in International forums to malign BD. Our Bollywood films, TV serials, news, etc. are doing lots of negative propaganda against BD to brainwash us...did you find those films & serials? let me know!
7. Soon India will be broken into pieces, at least least 7 pieces....to start with, BD will cut India's NE part through "Chicken Neck" corridor. Because 1 Muslim=10 Hindus.
8. There will be a "Greater Bangladesh" by slicing India.....maps are ready
9. "Supa Powa" is the nick name BDs lovingly gave us...that stands for Super Power. India is also named as "land of milk & honey".
10. There is no illegal immigration from BD to India, BDs economy & living conditions are far better than India, as proved by some threads. Hence, we are labeling our own Muslim citizens as illegal BD immigrants. And illegally crossing border is a non-issue, but BSF preventing it is a crime.

Sri Lanka Training Bangladesh Air force

Sri Lanka Air Force launched a newly designed Air Base Ground Defence Proficiency course for Bangladesh Air Force personnel which successfully concluded on the 26th June 2013 under the directives given by the Directorate of Training, Air Force Headquarters. The course was conducted under the supervision of the Commanding Officer Group Captain WWPD Fernando from 22nd April to 26th June 2013.

The officers and the instructors who underwent this training assignment speaking to the SLAF media stated that, the course was of immense value to them and the experience gathered was tremendous.. This novel experience was effective and mutually beneficial for both the Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan Air Forces. It also served to strengthen relations and bonds of friendship which exist between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The course was conducted through Weapon Training, Individual Combat Skills, Mechanism of Defence and Ground Defence of Air Bases, Intelligence and Counter Intelligence, General Responsibilities of an Officer, Field Training Exercises, and operational briefings.

i know there are few lankans in Bangladesh ( but NOT LOADS , there are probably more Bangladeshi`s in SL) but always wondered why...U hardly find a Sri Lankan even in India (apart from tourists and tamils)...From what I v heard Sri Lankan businessmen own several garment factories in Bangladesh and they prefer to have sri Lankan staff
