Sanga was a great captain and perhaps the best after Jayawardene and Arjuna Ranatunga. In a way it was silly to be dejected out of one match. Kumar is still young and a very capable decision maker. He stands firm on his decisions and that is what a young SL team needs. There is virtually no point in doing something like this because it will only hurt the sentiments of many SL cricket fans who want to see the man as a continuing captain--- taking this defeat as a learning point and improving in forthcoming tours.
I think it is time SL gets a bowling captain as well. I can think of only one person since Murali will be retiring; Lasith Malinga.
