Spectacular dive of the ghazi general

Typical hyping by media for clickbait and ad revenue.

1. There is no confirmed news that Gen. Sharif is doing this

2. He did so much for pakistan, we can't forget that, just because he took a job offer after retirement. We are not a ungrateful nation

Generals should retire gracefully and cherish the respect they gained by playing their innings. Accepting positions such as ambassadors, political leaders, consultants for foreign governments is below the dignity in my opinion. The longer your put yourself on the playing crease, the more you increase your chances of making mistakes. Quoting from the movie Batman & Harvey Dent, One should prefer dying a hero then to live long enough to see oneself become a villain instead!

Ok guys, try to keep on the topic, we are going the other way towards discussing Religion / Islam.

Indeed.

I was taken aback by this part in bold below !!

Btw, what do you mean by more tolerant form of Islam? Islam is Islam, You have to own and accept every practice of Islam. You can't pick and choose. If there is tolerance in Islam, then there is strictness in Islam. Tolerance is shown when Muslims are in a weak Position. When They are in a dominate position, they get strict

Well you can have it sorted out in one on one msgs with Bratva.

I am myself amazed as that has not been the case always but may be he can explain it better what he meant.

Mustafa Kemal Pasha was an officer in the Ottoman army. He was sent to Anatolia after the armistice by Sultan Vahdettin himself to organize a national struggle for freedom. The Sultan was warned by the Intelligence that Kemal Pasha had ulterior motives, yet the Sultan continued even it meant the end of Saltanat. Kemal Pasha organized the folks stating that he's working to restore Halife and Hilafet to its glory by dispatching the British. The author appears to be blinded by secularism

As a poor guy who studied History, History of the Republic and the Turkish Military History itself, your post either has political motives to shadow the objectivity or it is the joke of the century my dear friend.

OMG, I used to think of Ayaz Mir one of the better PMLn supporters but I didn't know that he could stoop so low and touch the ebb of moral bankruptcy by indulging in the mud-slinging initiated by his party leadership through false-accurations, u-turns and again accusations...That proves "Patwari patwari hota hai parha likha ho ya jahil".

First of all this is based on speculation but even if he takes up the position how come that distorts his image. And even if it true, I totally support Gen Raheel Shareef's decision to lead the coalition and if some libtards are getting some nightmares and sleepless nights, who gives a single hoot to them?

We need to secure our allies wherever possible and if we take the rumour to be true analysing the three conditions set by Gen (r). Raheel Shareef make it very balanced choice especially about extending the offer to Iran for joining the coalition.

The Islamic Military Alliance he is supposed to head is a phantom organisation, certainly non-existent on the ground but, more alarmingly, existing not even on paper.
What does that even mean?
Is the author such an idiot?

Pakistan shouldn't back out from this alliance at any cost, come what may. Iran's inclusion will be ok but if they don't come then we should move ahead. There are 40 fukin nations in this coalition. We need to seize the opportunity.

The way propaganda has been done in mainstream electronic and print media regarding this coalition is unbelievable. We need to regulate and audit our media...Its look like our sectarian neighboring country has bought our media houses/anchors/writers...

Pakistan is showing weakness over here....When Pakistan didn't join in Yemen, everyone respected it, even by those who were proponents of joining in Yemen...Now, when Gen. Raheel (Retired) has taken only command (not even confirmed) these all sectarian traitors are posting bullshit and are showing they view things only from sectarian eye...

Pakistan needs to man up...These media propagandists and other sectarian propaganda outfits have hold public opinion hostage...People are praising this decision of gen. Raheel

Well for that, we should be vocal and defeat the propaganda by such elements because right now they are very active but of course they in minority.

One of the most stupid argument regarding this alliance that it is Sunni Alliance? I mean, Are u serious? Definitely, Sunnis are in majority of Muslim world so whenever any alliance will be made by Muslims, Sunnis will be majority in it...

Iran also formed her alliance with Bashar assad, hizbullah....but nobody said that it is shia alliance....

We are being fooled massively...This sicks me to the core...

1. If any retired Officer, after doing the needful, join any king's gaurd is no problem. every person has the right to do bussiness/jobs after retirement. there should no crying in media. If Retired Chief joins Saudi Led force, it is his personal action does not represent Pakistan.
2. Top leadership indeed need to change their mindset. both civil and military. Greed for money power and popularity should be tamed with in legel limits.
3. The politicians and pseudo scholars who have failed in gain any thing in democratic institution should stop inviting military interventions in civil affairs, they should focus on making themselves relevant by improving their selves and their thinking.
Democracy is only way out fr pakistan to prosper and become strong.

I know boss, that's why I didn't address my long lecture to you. I have always enjoyed your posts even though I'm a relatively new member!

My entire point was that this whole concept of declaring someone a kaafir / wajib-ul-qatal thing is a product of the concept of takfeer, which is a fundamental pillar of Wahabbi/Salafi thought --- funded and supported by the House of Saud via a network of poisonous madrassas that our State (and Deep State) is still having trouble controlling.

It provides endless fuel/fodder for militant recruiters.

BTW, I'm working on a film on Sultan Saladin to showcase a more tolerant form of Islam, even in times of war: www.SaladinFilm.com

What do you know about Wahibism and Takfeerism ? why dont you quote some references out of the book.

There are Sunni brelvi clerics who are mostly involved in this Wajib Ul Qatal thing. Neither heard this from any salafist or how they call Ahl Hadith cleric. And in case you may allege, I am not Wahabi or whatever you call it.

All of your comment are centered on how House of Saud is an evil despite any good thing and how Iran is an angel despite lot of back stabbing and evil designs.

The Saudi ideology is followed by people like Hafiz Saeed, where did they commit any form terrorism against Pakistan ?
The Saudis funded the Taliban during the soviet war, where did they commit terrorism against Pakistan ?

And, how much fuel does Iranian sectarian propaganda provide for recruiting mercenaries, if you want to know, visit Syria and Iraq.

IS is grater threat to KSA than it is to any other country in the world. Even Iran has no considerable threat from IS.

You mix politics, religioun and sectarianism in a single sentence to support your pro-Iranian stance, and dont tell me that I have said Iran is no angel. You believe that Iran is a "better choice".

Now, in your next post, try to clear us how the Wahabism is cause of all troubles while all the other sects are peaceful in Islam. Also, enlighten us that how the fall of House of Saud will effect positively the Islamic world and how the vacuum will be filled. Also, tell us any constraint to Iranian design is not necessary for all of the Arab countries. Dont play word game anymore.

If any alliance is to be formed. It should be uni-directional. We have already seen how OIC is effective which is collective platform of Muslim Unity. Iran, of course can join the alliance after it has taken a decisive shape. But, in the start, it is useless and propaganda statement to rant about Iran.

Strictness means. Implementing all the laws of Islam in it's entirety which is done when Muslims have a majority and government and wants Sharia to be implemented. The Strictness is Tax on non muslims and Muslims both. Jaziya and Zakat would be taken forcefully. Caliphs demonstrated their strictness on Zakat and as the history shows whenever Islamic laws are implemented in its entirety. It was implemented with strictness not with tolerance.

Tolerance is when muslims are weak and cant implement all the laws in its entirety so that they had to compromise with pick and choose scenario to adjust with their environment.

I hope I clarified and any more discussions would in an entirely different thread.

Raise good point when they made Alliance did they ask us. And it hurts me more when our own people show loyalty to them ( Iran ) and these politicians who are so blindly in love with Khomeini. And sorry to say those who think Iranian as brotherly country should know that Iran will never miss an opportunity if they were in our place. And please send those hard-core supporters to Syria so they can rotten their...
