The reason why K-pop is more popular, my personal view is, their music and dance style is very westernized. Which makes audiences of all the world no hard to enjoy them. While on the other hand, Chinese songs contain Chinese culture ingredients. Most westerner couldn't comprehend them. But I think there is no problem for Japanese or Vietnamese to accept Chinese songs.

Another song from Tang Dynasty band.

You nailed it bro. This is not promoting Korean culture but more like promoting western culture

Argh...it is way too early in the morning for me to form a rational discussion, but concentrating your resource on one giant company is a bad idea. Companies come and go and if your economy is tied into the company, a private company, like that, then you got serious problem when international environment shifts----hence why Koreans bent over before the 1997 financial crisis BEFORE the storm actually started blowing.

Look, learning from others is a necessary component of self-improvement, but before learning anything, you probably need to figure out what is good and what is bad first.

Wishful thinking. In Vietnam Vpop is no 1, second is American Pop and 3rd is Kpop. The day of Cantonese pop no 1 in Vietnam is long gone. There are more than 1 million Chinese Vietnamese watching Chinese dub and listen to Chinese music , promote Cpop culture still do not make Cpop the most popular.

One more thing, Cpop will never be as popular as Kpop in Western in the future. Even Thai pop is much better candidate than cpop. One should not forget there are 1.3 billion Chinese, and some millions oversea Chinese can generate massive views for a Cpop MV, this does not mean popular among other non Chinese speaking.

Ha, caught you lying again. Why would Chinese need to watch dubbed Chinese drama? Unless they are **drum rolling**

The golden age of Hong Kong cantonese culture was over. HongKong movies and music used to very big in Vietnam, now day, Asian entertainment inherits from Japanese culture. Look at Kpop, it was able able to penetrate to western audiences partly thank to Japanese frontiers. Chinese culture is less relevant in Vietnam now day.

Again, caught you lying. Your surnames, the festivals you celebrate, your written language (before you wrote Vietnamese in French), and of course the history we recorded for you in Chinese, your Confucius thinking, etc are all from China. :enjoy:

When I was traveling in Vietland, I noticed what they were watching, those damn boring Chinese soapies from those county-level channels. They are too poor to buy our province-level channel soapies.
