Only mosques in Muslim neighbourhoods use loudspeaker (maximum one allowed) for azan and arabic khutbah. Barelvis in western up and mp used to use loudspeaker for salat o salaam too but its been curbed now. Minority Muslims in hindu majority villages of UP, Bihar tend to avoid using loudspeakersYour country your rules, here in pak according to new rule a masque can have only one loudspeaker, no one can use speakers for naat, qirat etc, but only they can use speakers for azan, i think its good move by govt, india can implement similar rule too, before this rule a small masque having dozens of speakers which been uaed unnecessary

Bro you just need to approach them and tell them to adjust the sound level. They would listen. They tone it down a lot during exam timeBro I appreciate the clarification. But sound does not stop where the neighborhood does.
I'm not Muslim, but my family lived in a Muslim majority neighborhood. I used to sleep like a horse. But my dad for years used to be wide awake after 5 a.m. pacing around the house.

There are some Hindu families where I live (Park Circus). They never approach us nor interact with us. We give them iftar invitations but they never come. They think we are al qaeda isis territory dangerous we would "chaku" them lol. The Christian families on the other hand interact with us freely. We even have pork shop Chaman's in Park Circus market which is Muslim majority area right opposite to the beef stores. Its quite popular among the Christians in our area. I hope the Hindu families someday interact with us tooThis is India bro. Kaun karta hai aise?
