if a sanctions were to be put in place the economies of both will greatly suffer
it was never the case with Russia , Russia only has natural gas which is of value to EU
but alternative markets are emerging.

Best wishs for persians, sanctions are tough, but u independently developed many advanced weapons, iranians are smart and determined people. most chinese harbour good feelings to iran.

France had met with UK_USA and told them of its automatic veto which coming from a friend would have been worse for their international standing than not having a resolution backing in the first place which they then chose. In any case, the majority of the 15 SC members at the time was opposed to the invasion to begin with.

In general, China has the best record of the 5 UNSC PM for having used its veto right the less!
Which proves you play better politics than most actually, as relying on forcefulness is on average an admission of feebleness of moral standpoint!
