no you should read more to understand philosphy of why we consider god in creatures. it all started in IVC. pasupathi is the lord of all creatures aka Lord Shiva.this was principal to IVC.
islam does not have any place for philosophical or questioning. you are just told to follow rules else god forbid.
hinduism is not like that. thats why under many sects have different philosophies.. eg this rat temple is only in one place in rajasthan. and rats are not worshipped but only respected.
again we believe god is powerful enough to take whatever form he wants. so some streams of hinduism see divinity in all living creatures including you and me,
