I don't get why all those soldiers get trashed and humiliated like this. After all, they were just following the orders from their superiors..... If anything,it should be their chiefs that should be humiliated like this. A soldier always follow the orders. When I was in the army what already we were telling me... Oh I remember. 'Thinking (Or questionning the orders) is starting to disobey'. (Sorry for the poor translation.) @flamer84
Yo,dork,we're discussing in here and we're allowed an opinion.Crawl back to your cave if you don't like it.
I am against any kind of humiliating, but the excuse they only follow order is bullshit. They know vey well that they act against laws. It was an illegal order and the soldiers know this.

It's in the Turkish constitution that the army can act against those who try to undermine democracy & secularism.
It's obvious to everyone but the most wide-eyed of Islamists, that Erdogan was undermining democracy and secularism.
The Army did its job. Unfortunately, Erdogan had already stripped much of the army and put in his loyalists - so it was only a partial coup.
Now Erdogan will make sure the army can never again guard secularism or democracy.
Last night, Turkey became an Islamic theocracy.
Would you "just follow orders" and shoot unarmed innocent civilians? Simple yes or no answer.
Turkish air tankers from İncirlik Airbase, not US tankers.Rumors are that two NATO (US) air tankers KC135R were refueling rebellion F-16 jets.
Seriously you can't treat your own soldiers like that.
Turks are over doing it now. Shameful.
Do you know any democratic state where the military is defender of democracy and secularism?
Well said. These military fanboys take things over board when they try to justify every atrocity committed by people in uniform under the pretext that they were just following orders. It's a shame that even defence.pk represents and stands up for these reprehensible views. @WebMaster I am quoting you here to please review your forum's policies regarding giving utmost and unconditional respect to people in uniform, no matter how grave their crimes are.I'm sorry but after firing from war machines onto unarmed civilians... "I was just following orders" excuse just doesn't cut it.
