Depends i always use the double sided tape and place it on mic and camera both as it stops sound and video and use external mic which can be easily plugged in when you need
You use normal tape it will stop the video but people can still listen but if you really worried about this than you shouldnt use modern phones as they are as vulnerable as your laptop

Protection against hacking and spying becomes of paramount importance and a huge industry especially when more and more are resorting to online shopping and storing key information.

People today are so addicted to Google's products like Google Chrome, Android phones, Chrome-books, Chrome-caste, many wearable devices that are passing so much intimate information about us to hackers.

People are focussing on cameras but mics are even more dangerous and everyone seems to be oblivious of this fact. Furthermore you WiFi if not enabled with highest encryption with a long random password containing mixed symbols, special characters etc is up for being hacked.

It is a very interesting and important subject and I can go on forever but I have a lot to do and night now it is time for my weekly run up even though its getting chilly outside....
