Most of the people in Gilgit-Baltistan are Ismailis. The founder of Pakistan was also born in an Ismaili family so Indians don't know what they are talking about.

As for people of Gilgit-Baltistan, they don't consider themselves Kashmiris and don't consider their land part of Kashmir. Gilgit-Baltistan has its own traditions, culture, and heritage. Gilgit-Baltistan was annexed to the princely state of Kashmir by the British and Hari Singh, before that it was a state of its own. Indians would know that if they talked to a person from Gilgit-Baltistan.

The only part of Kashmir Pakistan has in its possession is Azad Kashmir, a small strip of land. The rest of Kashmir is occupied by india.

Gilgit-Baltistan is a beautiful place but I don't see the people wanting to be indians. They don't even consider their land to be part of Kashmir.

He probably meant the steady demograhic alteration in the "disputed territories" by allowing Pakistanis (mostly Punjabis) to settle in them.

HAHAHA nice try. We Punjabis are far away from Gilgit-Baltistan. Mostly Pashtuns from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA are settling in Gilgit-Baltistan and they have every right. They're the ones who freed Gilgit-Baltistan from hindus.

Says the guy who's army is working day and night to kill Kashmiris and encourage other Indians to settle in there, all in a desperate attempt to turn Kashmir into non-Muslim majority.
Besides, as Omar clarified, most Punjabis don't even live in AJK, with whom we have a shared culture and even very similar language, forget Gilgit Baltistan..

All this Pak talk of Islam and muslim brotherhodd with kashmiri is BS.

Pak is playing a clever game where to the outside world they seem they are supporting kashmiris, but in reality kashmiris are being used for fighting for Pakistan to secure their water. Right now under IWT, india is denying kashmir their water and giving to Pak.

If kashmir gets feedom, Pak will not allow it. Because then kashmir will draw more water from Indus and Jhelum, which will reduce Pak water. Also Chenab will be in india (Jammu) so Pak will lost water and thats not acceptable.

If kashmir belongs to Pak then Punjabis will opress kashmiris and will still continue to deny them the water and will waste this resource even worse than now.
So best bet for kasmiri prosperity is to stay with India.
