Ship begins 50-day patrol of Nansha Islands

China's main culture has never been buddhism and buddhism has been supressed over a long period of China's dynasties. Buddhism, like Islam, Christianity, Catholicism and etc. are all into the big melting pot of China.

China's own culture is simply related to Confucianism, Taoism and etc.

Calling China culture an offspring of indian culture simply indicates that you know nothing about China culture at all. Calling you an idiot is an understatement.

What kind of China Culture you would like to talk about when you refuse Buddhism, which is religion of Tibetans and Islam, is religion of Uighur ? Are they foreigners in China ?

Nobody said about refusal to anything. Do not act like a retard here.

Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism and etc. can all be considered imported foreign influence to Chinese main culture, which is mainly Confucianism, Taoism and etc.

Of course, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism and etc. have all evolved based on Chinese main culture and have their own Chinese characteristics. Buddhism was imported the earliest and then it was Islam. The last were Christianity, Catholicism. It has been either encouraged or suppressed historically in different dynasties depending on the emperors favor or dislike. That is why I say those imported ones were never considered as Chinese (main) culture.

When you talk about Chinese culture, it simply refers to Confucianism, Taoism. Do you see Chinese Confucius Institutes overseas take in any of those imported elements???

Chinese culture has never been sub-culture of any other culture or any other country. For vietnam, a small country that get its own culture nourishment from China for thousand of years. Aren't you shameful that you still do not know what your master's culture is after learning so long???

Baiyue or Hundred Yue or ancient Yue is different form ancient Chinese so culture of modern Viet is diffenrent from culture of modern China. Of course, they have many things in common because they are neighboor.
While Baiyue or Hundred Yue or ancient Yue ( living by farming) is good at culture, poor at fighting ability, ancient Chinese ( living by hunting) is very good at fighting, poor at culture. This lead to ancient Chinese swallowed ancient Viet to create big China nowaday. Modern Viet, just Lac Viet - Sea Bird Yue, is the official remain peoples of Hundred Yue.

In 5 top ancient Kings of Chinese history, there are 3 Kings whose name have Yue element base. Why ? ...who took culture of whom ?

Most Hundred Yue's gene pool now are within the modern Chinese population, whereas Vietnam = South of Yue, not Yue itself.

You are mostly not related to the ancient Hundred Yue living in the South China.
Most Hundred Yue's gene pool now are within the modern Chinese population...> it is good to hear that. It means a lot of modern Chinese, in fact, have Baiyue as their great great father. Baiyue land & culture was taken by ancient Han ( peoples from Northen land).

Vietnam is from Lac Viet peoples (Sea Bird Yue - 雒越 ), Lac Viet was one of Hundred Yue ( Baiyue).

Baiyue = Bách Việt = Hundred Yue

Baiyue is our mother, and our father is still Huaxia.

It's disappointing when Chinese Culture refer only to Confucianism and Taoism, nothing more ? You have to learn more about concept of "Culture" first, definition of culture is what ? after that you should do promotion for Chinese culture. Don't say stupid things.
The peoples of the world wide have influenced each others culturally. It's important that to learn the progress and remove the obsoletes. It's also no shame to thousand of young Chinese just studying in US. It's also no shame to China when Shaolin Temple 少林寺 product of imported religion is famous in China and in the world.

That is not a correct statement.

Historically, Chinese culture/civilization is developed in Northern China. Even for development of Southern China, it was by those who migrated from Northern China due to wars in the North.

When Northern Chinese migrated to South, they further suppressed/drove those supposed Baiyue down south again, e.g. to those mountains in Guangxi, and further Vietnam, Laos and etc.

The supposed Baiyue has never been an accepted culture contributory element in Chinese culture. If it indeed has any role, it is at most very tiny one.

It is you who are the stupid one. The late development of Shaolin temple is China's own: 禅宗。Do you see that anywhere else in other part of world???

For any culture, it has its main elements. In China, it is Confucianism and Taoism.

Of course, I have also said that there are other imported ones that have influence over Chinese culture, e.g. Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism and etc. However, they have all evolved with Chinese characteristics which are totally different from what it was before. For example, 禅宗 is an example for buddhism's development in China that was not in other part of the world.

However, all of those imported ones have only minor roles in Chinese culture and can only be considered peripheral elements within Chinese culture while her main elements are always Confucianism, Taoism at least for the past two thousand years. Chinese culture main elements used to have more, e.g. 墨家,法家,儒家,道家,阴阳家,纵横家,兵家 and etc. However, Confucianism got its major boost after the great Han Wu Emperor put it in the forefront of his favors.

Learn something that is real Chinese before writing those garbage.

The Chinese culture and male lineage is dominant among the modern South Chinese, the trace of the Baiyue tribes can only be found in the mtDNA.

Because the ancient Chinese soldiers from the Northern China indeed intermarry with the local women of the Baiyue tribes, but the Y-DNA of Baiyue males are almost absent among the modern South Chinese, maybe they mostly got slaughtered during the conquest.

OK, Chinese Culture = Confucianism + Taoism.
No more ! :bad:

During China's main culture development period, the south plays almost no role at all. The only one that has a little relation to the south is the Chu in warring period.

Jin is the period the Northern Chinese migrated to South and another wave came after Northern Song collapsed.

There is no pure Chinese gene nowadays and those supposed enemies of China, e.g. The Huns, the Turks and Mongolians, Manturians and etc have joined the Chinese family through inter-racial marriage.

Even Tang's emperors had turkish blood in their veins as well. Historically, China's defense is always against the North. There is not much China need worry about from the South anyway.

Baiyue was driven to the current Guangxi, Laos and Vietnam area when Northern Han Chinese moved south during Jin as well as Song period. I bet there is almost none of them left during Song's migration.

In addition, even during warring period, only Wu, Yue as well as Chu have some contacts with those Baiyue people. When Qin established,
Qin's general Zhao Tuo was sent to conquer Baiyue and he did that and established the first kingdom there after he learned his master: Qin shihuang has died and Qin Dynasty has collapsed.

Anyway, it is historically wrong to say Baiyue is Chinese's mother. It does not deserve that at all.

You are right.
Modern Chinese is from Baiyue + Huaxia ( Bach Viet + Hoa Hạ )
Mordern Viet is from Lac Viet, one of Baiyue ( Bach Viet). Original

Mostly the modern South Chinese, but the modern North Chinese is a mixture with Altaic.

That was the result of the Mongolian and Manchurian invasion of China. So, you Chinese and Vietnamese are the same people huh!? :azn:

Why are you guys fighting over the oil for? Share the wealth kiddos ...
