He produced the superb film, Vijeta, which was set in a scenario of the Indian Airforce, but this was not a war film as such. One of his sons, Kunal, was in this film. Shashi Kapoor also acted in this film.

Oh, what a shame! My favourite among the Kapoor brothers, so far removed from the all-enveloping ego of Raj, and the smell of a permanently priapic condition from Shammi.
He was the brother who could switch so effortlessly from the most serious and histrionically demanding roles to the light frippery that we expect from Indian cinema of a certain vintage.
I would like to remind members that his wife was such an effortlessly powerful an actor in her own right.
It is a shame that their children never really took to Bollywood; they would have been an enormous improvement over the dumb clucks from their family who finally made it.
What loss to subcontinent? Its indias loss or say your loss. Speak for yourself only dont drag whole subcontinent or pakistan into it , noone in pakistan care who he was. Two bit chamchas.A great loss for the subcontinent.. one of the most greatest actor of our era passed away .. may he Rest In Peace
RIP, what happened to him? Was he sick? There was no previous news about his sickness.
A memorable and brilliant chapter of Indian films industry.

Is he not the uncle of same guy rishi tishi kapoor who started that hum tumharay baap offensive nonsense before champions trophy final?
Well, from the only-so-much I saw from his films, he certainly was understated.
And you point about Shammi...
And yes, Raj was the grand showman type who got swayed perhaps by his international appeal.
IMDB lists her husband, her children and her father as well as herself as cast for the much spoken-about 1979 film 'Junoon', but I haven't seen the film.
Well, Ranbir Kapoor is not so bad.
Neither is other guy a spokesperson for pakistan to consider it a collective loss.I am interested to see that you have been appointed spokesman for the country. It must have been a reward for your dedication and application, and your superior number of posts, not to mention your impeccable manners.
Is your Argentinean origin accidental, or was it picked out of a box?
Junoon is definitely worth seeing.

Yes i know my manners are flawless, you can consider entering my tutelage to hone in yours.
As of origins , surely less accidental than yours :--D
