Sara nuru and @levina are look alikes.
How can bachelor remain a bachelor after he gets married? Hm?Well i said "Bachelors" and Women are normally happy before and after marriage..... We men are happy before and after we wish our selves " RIP"!!!!!
The fascination with lighter skin is not completely without reason.
At least in North India, hight caste Hindus are fairer than everyone. This has resulted in pining for fair skin by people who are not part of these groups since high caste hindus represnt higher status and historical advantage like that in prefrential mate selection has created a genetic gradiant of attractiveness in favour of high castes.
It does not work that way. You have two attractive people like Bill Clinton and Hillary marrying and producing a Chelsea. I have seen very plain parents having astonishingly beautiful children.
Probability of good looking parents (both sides) producing good looking Children is very high, and if attractiveness has been a family trait for generations , it it a certainity. It is more of a genetic certainity barring supression of genes responsible for attractiveness.
Remember major universal markers of attractiveness like Height, Body frame, Face symmetry, Nose built, Boobs size, Thigh gap, Leg length, Hip width , Skin consistency and glow , and even minor ones like Hair colour,Eye colour,Skin colour are Heriditary with very little contribution of enviormental factors.
Similar is case with intelligence, though share of enviormental factors in intelligence is much more than beauty.
BTW: You find Hillary attractive!!!
Genes are not the only determinant. Nor is attractiveness quantifiable. It is subjective and in the eye of the beholder. Unless you think being fair is the only criteria for being good looking. Just looking at Bollywood one can easily surmise that none of the current generation star kids are anywhere as good looking or as talented as their parents were.
Also attractive fathers do not pass their looks on to their sons but they will hand their good looks down to their daughters, research shows.
It definitely does not lie in eyes of believer completely.Height, Body frame, Face symmetry, Nose built, Boobs size, Thigh gap, Leg length, Hip width , Skin consistency and glow are markers of attractiveness in all cultures
The particulars you have listed as being universally acknowledged as measure of attractiveness certainly is not true. I do not even know what you mean by thigh gap. Thunder thighs were mark of attractiveness in South. Flat chestedness was cherished in Chinese civilization. Being too tall was considered a disadvantage in literally all cultures. Face symmetry, body proportionality, skin consistency and glow were the only universal markers.
Your sons may not be as fortunate
I anyway would prefer having Daughters (at least 2-3).
They divided it(our country) on the basis of caste, religion and now skin colour.
I seriously think south India should be separated from the rest of India if North Indians think south India is not a part of India.
Did you read just that comment of mine or did you read other comments which came after it?Dont be an idiot
You want to split this great nation due to one stupid comment?
But I realised this controversy is baseless, if Sharad Yadav said merely this...."The women of the south are dark but they are as beautiful as their bodies...We don't see it here. They know dance."
Then I guess we 're crucifying him without any reason. I don't see anything offending in his sentence.
But I was very offended when Kumar Bishwas called nurses from Kerala "Kali, neeli..peeli". For a moment I did feel like knocking-off all his teeth.
Now let me clear my POV here, I've lived in various parts of India and 've met ppl from all walks of life. In my opinion, atleast 60% of the ppl in North India hold views similar to what Kumar Bishwas had to say, infact that number could be much higher.
The problem with we Indians is that we always look at the differences. Caste, religion and color of skin does divide India and this is a reality.
@utraash I'm the last person who would like to see my country divided, but at the same time I would like to disassociate myself with anyone who doesnt respect fellow Indians.
But I would like to know how it all started, because if am not wrong we all come from the same dark ancestors who once lived in Africa.
Yes and No!
Yes South Indians do prefer fair skin....but North Indians make it more obvious.
And you're wrong if you thought that only punjabis hold such prejudice. Punjabis take it to a diff level but that doesnt mean rest of India or north India is free of such prejudice.
While attending a marriage at Unnao (Kanpur) one lady told us that "if the girl is fair and pretty, then lesser dowry is demanded by guy's family".And mind you that came from a lady who belonged to a very affluent and educated family.
Another incident I would like to quote is of my Kashmiri fren who has a wheatish complexion, she often came under the hammer from her fellow kashmiris who used to take a dig at her complexion. She was called unfortunate (Bechari!).
No, I seriously think he hasn't said anything offensive.
And there's no reason why we south Indians should feel offended. Nonetheless, such divide exists in India and throwing brick bats at Sharad Yadav is as good as shooting the messenger.
Sorry i missed this post last nite.
I think we should stop defending our color. Being dark definitely doesnt mean inferior, but as they say "People pelt stones at trees which bear fruits".
Kal raat ko toh bada gal-gal kar rahe the ?? you lil machhar!!! Lolzz
On topic, if you thought opinion of politicians don't matter then let me tell you you're wrong.
I'm just a member on an unknown forum, so even if I say lets divide my country on the basis of caste, religion and skin color then it would hardly create a ripple.
But when an elected representative (poor Sharad Yadav my sympathies with him!) say such sentences then it does 've serious repercussions. But let me reiterate Sharad Yadav is being crucified for a very harmless comment, It is ppl like Kumar Bishwas (the IIT/IIm educated class) who deserve to be brought under the hammer for their mendacious nonsense
In the end thats what matters.
We all 're Indians, dark or white we will get the same kinda passport and the same kinda ration. Lolzz
Oh !!!
