PTI got 174 on technocrat. Hafeez Sheikh was not liked among pti members.

I agree with that assessment, some otherwise disgruntled members in the governments ranks might have been persuaded to hold the line. But ultimately Hafeez Sheikh as a candidate caused this loss.
